Juliana is a cancer patient who lives in her father's mansion. Her father is dedicated to finding a cure and goes into cahoots with villains to get Stark's attention. She needs a Latin American accent.
Cancer. I've had since I was young.
You don't need to protect me, Papa.
Merlin is a genius tech who used to work for Stark. Stark shut down one of her weapons projects and is still pretty sore about it.

The Bride is a fairly mysterious villainess who was cloned during an experiment due to her exposure to the extremis virus. Her clones attack Iron Man in the film.

Maya essentially created the extremis virus. She is on the run during the film from various people who want her dead.
