Welcome! This is my Invader Zim AU, Doomsday, a comic series on tumblr. Doomsday is horror/sci-fi/drama/murder mystery series where Dib must find out the reason behind the multiple disappearances and survive being hunted by the vicious invader, Zim.

A young boy that has a strong sense of justice. He loves the supernatural and dreams of becoming a famous paranormal investigator. However, he often leaps to conclusions and rushes headfirst into situations without a second thought.
Dib kinda sounds like he does in the show, but a lot more like an actual teenager. There are obviously signs of puberty in his voice, like voice cracks, especially when he raises his voice. He’s still got a lot of “kid” in him that’s going through the average stages of adolescence. Try not to make his acting over the top, go for a more realistic tone.
*Note: It is okay to do a Dib impression but it is highly recommended to try to do something on your own. Just don’t make him sound like a male anime protagonist lmao.

“I KNOW what I saw! That… THING is an ALIEN!! It almost tried to KILL me!!” (You’re frustrated; scared, voice shaking with fear and anger. You’re trying so hard to get these people to believe you.)
“If you think you can take me down, you’ve got another thing coming! I will stop you, you hear me?!!” (Bold, fearless. Nervous but, brave nonetheless.)
“What’s the matter? Scared of ME, space boy?” (Mocking, cocky. You’re taunting this asshole and loving every second of it.)
The purest example of someone going through a phase. That phase. You know the one. Gaz is Dib’s younger sister. She’s often seen engrossed in video games, carrying them everywhere. She dislikes people, whiners, and her brother’s paranormal obsession, especially if she’s involved. Despite her grouchiness, Gaz is skilled, calm under pressure, and intelligent, with a soft spot for animals. Although she doesn’t seem like it on the surface, she cares about her brother deeply.
Gaz has a youthful raspy voice, a lot like in show, but a lot more mature. She’s very grouchy and grumbles when she speaks. Her personality is cold, the quiet loathing kind, but not cruel. She has her soft moments but doesn’t like to show them often.
*Note: It is perfectly okay to do a Gaz impression, but make sure you sound realistic.

Jesus, what's your problem? He's probably, y'know... different. (annoyed; slightly exasperated)
It's the rain... it makes me sentimental. (soft; melancholic; nostalgic.)
A happy-go-lucky boy who loves making new friends. He’s a student that goes to the same school as Dib and he sees the absolute best in anybody. He’s cheerful, kind, and has a good heart, but that makes him a bit of a pushover. He doesn’t really stand up for himself often, he’s a people pleaser and sometimes he suffers because of that.
Keith’s voice is energetic and tender. He has a very cheerful and upbeat personality. His voice is very youthful and high. When he’s sad or upset, his voice does a complete 180 and deepens a little.

A sweet girl that believes in God. She has a huge crush on Dib. She recently got into the occult just to impress him. She helps him often when he gets in trouble.
When she speaks, her voice isn't high or squeaky, it's low and mellow. She has a calm, sweet, demeanor with a naive personality.

One time I used a Ouija Board, the whole house lost power! I swear I summoned Satan! (Animated, retelling old story with wonder)
Dib, I... I just wanted to say that I... I believe in you. (sincere, soft, gentle)
The first victim. A very vague, mysterious, bizarre entity that helps Dib solve the case of his own death. Speaks through radios, computers, and phones. He wants to remember who he was and have justice over his death. Polaroid's demeanor and behavior is usually enigmatic, perhaps somewhat absurd. Polaroid appears to be very wise, and have knowledge of the future, the situation at hand, and somehow Dib himself.
When he speaks it comes out as an ominous whisper with a tinge of sadness. His voice is low but young, mysterious and calm, almost ethereal.
