Project Overview

First, thanks for your interest in this small little project!

We'll be covering the song into the thick of it from the Backyardigans as Genshin Impact characters!

The project will be posted onto my YouTube channel, Lumineu41. We will be using in-game footage for the video! It'll be a purely cute little music video of these characters going around the monstadt while singing Into the Thick of it!

The characters involved will be Klee, Qiqi and Diona as the main singers. Kaeya, Jean and Albedo are extras for small bonus scenes and interactions between each other, no singing needed.

I don't ask for much, as long as your recording quality is decent and you have no background noise!

  • Thank you for auditioning!

    Thanks to everyone who auditioned! We are going to begin discussing on who to cast now! Results will come soon within the week, just been a little backed up with other deadlines at the moment but worry not! Everything is smoothly underway! Be sure to lookout for the casting notification in case you have been casted as the character you auditioned for! Discord is definitely needed as the body actors as well as information are mostly shared in a server I use for these types of projects! I'm so excited to go through all these submissions! Looking forward to working with our future cast of VAs and Singers!

  • Filming for the video is complete!

    I forgot to update that my team and I finished filming all the footage required to make the video last week! We are currently just waiting on more submissions to finally decide on who to cast for who! We plan on extending the deadline in hopes of receiving more auditions!

  • Regarding Re-dos and Re-takes

    I received a DM regarding the topic of retakes and redos and I'd like to state here that redos and retakes are definitely allowed but be sure to include "latest audition" or "Please refer to this audition" in the comment of the audition so we can keep track of which to use as reference when deciding at the end of the casting call.
