Star Wars: Into the Great Unknown (A Han Solo Story)
Project Overview
Krayt Dragon Films is thrilled to announce that we will be bringing to life one of the best Legends comics to date! "Into the Great Unknown" is a ten-page non-canon comic story that was written by W. Haden Blackman. Within its pages, Han Solo and Chewbacca pilot their starship, the Millennium Falcon, blindly into hyperspace and end up crashing into the planet Earth's Pacific Northwest. Solo is attacked and killed by a group of Native Americans, and, 126 years later, his skeleton is discovered by the archaeologist Indiana Jones, who is searching the area for the fabled Sasquatch (in fact Chewbacca).
"Into the Great Unknown" was included in the comic book Star Wars Tales 19, which was released on May 14, 2004. The story is notable for being the first officially-licensed work to include both Han Solo and Indiana Jones, two characters portrayed on film by Harrison Ford in the 1970s and 1980s. The idea to write a story featuring the two was floated by staff at Dark Horse Comics, who then asked Blackman to pen it. While writing, he inserted references to both film franchises into the story, hoping to appeal to a wide range of fans.
The project will be directed by the great Rob A.
The production will be quick so we request that all actors get their lines in two days after receiving the script.
Ground rules before you audition.
- Please make sure you can commit to the series and reprising your roles.
- Please be able to get your lines in the very same week you get the script. Production time will be airtight!
- Have a professional grade equipment or at the bare minimum make sure your audio is top notch.
- Have a Discord or be able to create one. It allows for us to communicate and upload documents much easier than Skype or any other platform.
- Certain characters, such as those already portrayed in media, will need to be similar if not a dead ringer for your voice to be cast. However, please don't let this discourage you from auditioning for those roles!

Short Round, also known as "Shorty" was Doctor Indiana Jones's assistant and sidekick. He accompanied him on a search for evidence of a creature called the Sasquatch (who was actually Chewbacca), said to live in a dense temperate rainforest. When Dr. Jones came across the wreckage of the Millennium Falcon, and the disconcertingly familiar Human remains within, they decided to leave Sasquatch as part of the "great unknown."
"I have a bad feeling about this place..."
"What now, Doctor Jones? We continue looking for this "monster?"
A Native American who guides Indiana Jones and Short Round to the wreckage of the Millenium Falcon. He has a Native American accent. Not too much more to be said about the man.
"This way, Doctor. For the past 30 years, the sightings have been concentrated on this ridge."
"Here, another print. We're nearing his home."
"There must be a cave here or... this is no cave."
