Project Overview
Ingrave is a story driven murder mystery RPG, set in a medieval fantasy world. Drawing inspiration from a Dungeons and Dragons campaign, it explores the same freedom sandbox board games often offer to players.
You play as the main character Aurora, retracing her steps before the murder occurs in search of answers. As the player it will be your duty to find the true murder.

I keep repeating the events of that night in my head. The screaming never really stops. It clings like smoke in your lungs, like something that doesn’t belong to you but refuses to leave. Every time I think I’ve outrun it, it pulls me back in. Same moment, same sound. Over, and over, and over.

Gonziel is a 16 year old business owner. She's popular and she knows it. She's not shy to show how self absorbed she is.

Tashiba has a elegant and a bit flirty personality. She has a strong ss pronunciation. She tends to speak slower.

Tori is a royal guard. He's quiet, quick to anger, slow speaker. He's introverted and distant by nature. In his regular emotion state he's more mumble but when he's worked up he speaks up louder.

Magdalena is a kid with birth defects. She has lower voice compared to the children her own age. Smart, called and reclused; turning sour after years of being humiliated by her physical abnormalities

There is no gentle way to say this, so I will not try. My mother is dead. She was murdered in her own home. Grief is a private thing, justice is not. You will not see me cry today, instead you will see me work to avenge my mother. Our Queen was taken from us! And it was not by illness, nor by fate. Rascal is the Inn keeper. Although skittish; he likes to think of himself as towns bachelor. He masks his insecure trough false snarkiness. He's a fast speaker, judgmental.

No, listen! The barrel was already cracked, the guy delivering it was acting guilty, and I knew something was off, but did I get thanked for noticing? No! I a-and then it spills everywhere, the guy runs away, and suddenly it’s my problem, and I have to fix it, which I will, by the way, since I always do stupid chores even though I'm the owner of this damn place!
This is how it goes when you're in charge of something bigger than yourself! You give, you take. Preferably more taking. And all that taking leads to improvements at the Inn, which leads to happier customers! See? Everything balances out.
Of course she’s coming! You should know this, she's the future ruler and all that. If we don’t set up her stuff, she’ll remember! Forever. And then when she grows up, or at least grows into that gigantic head of hers, she’ll have us executed
Aunt Umbra is an old pirate cook. She talks loud, speaks broken pirate English and loves to laugh a lot.
