Project Overview

Hey there!

Ma names Joe Joe and I make video games! I have a short game demo I started developing and I'm in need of some voice actors to help with some of its immersion!


I'm looking for a female lead to act as the focal point of the game. Additionally I'll need a few more voices to help produce a trailer.

The game will be pixel art, top down style, with voice recordings laid throughout the game that progresses the story forward as you try and solve a mysterious missing woman case.


Unfortunately my scope doesn't go too far, and I don't have enough content to make this a steam release, so It'll be going on my itch.io page for mow. Though if it gets enough traction I'd love to give it more depth and make it into a full fledged game. This is still actively in development, so roles may be added as time goes on.


Auditioning rules:

  1. Must be 16+. Nothing against the younger VAs, my project will just need more mature voices.

  2. Pease don't say your name when auditioning, I can read it when you audition (:

Feel free to interpret the lines as you like, and if I want something in a specific direction I'll reach out to you via discord asking for that!


Latest Updates

  • VA updates, game updates and final Deadline.

    Holy shit almost 89 submissions??? You guys are awesome. There's so much amazing voice acting talent who applied for these roles and I'm so grateful for it. Also, you all have NOT made it easy for me choosing who to move forward with.
    With that said, here's some updates for all you lovely people!

    ● Final Deadline is October 17th at midnight, CST.

    ● VA Update 1: I've made official short lists! If you were shortlisted, make sure I didn't message you on discord for a re-read! If I didn't though, it just means I didnt think there was any need for improvement with your original audition (: Short list can still be made too, so if youre interested give it a go!

    ● VA Update 2: I've added a few more minor VA roles. As the game has gotten closer to being ready I realized I can add some more depth to it by allowing the player to find voice mails left by friends and family throughout the game. I have elected TO NOT ADD THIS ROLE TO CCC as there is already so much amazing talent applying for the 2 openings I already have, and could choose those VAs from their auditions. These roles would be similar to the "trailer voices role". So know that there are several roles needing to be filled outside of the trailer and the 1 female lead.

    ■ Game Update: Mechanically the game is done. There's only a few minor things to add for it to be truly done. However, the art, UI, music, some cut scenes, game over screens and several other stuff outside of the mechanics are needed to make it actually look like a game. Reminder that I'm an indie dev and outside of 1 project, I normally always work alone. Though my goal is to have this game done in 2 weeks, and the trailer released on my YouTube channel before then.

  • Project updates / Short listings

    Hey all! I wanted to give a HUGE thank you for all the amazing talent who took their time to audition. My games are my passion, so I appreciate the serious efforts put into all the auditions. I put my blood, sweat, and tears into my games, and each of them are like my own little babies. So it absolutely warms my heart to see so many people interested in this games development, especially those who arent even submitting voice lines! I'm excited to publish the game later this month and reveal the trailer!

    With that said I wanted to post some updates!

    1. The games development deadline was extended. Because of this I felt it was only fair to extend the casting call deadline as well to give other VAs a chance to audition.

    2. I'm going to start denying and Short Listing auditions. If youre Short Listed please be on the lookout for a discord message as ill likely try to get a more specific take or different line from ya!

    Thats really it, I just wanted to communicate to everyone who took their time to audition with what's happening on my side of things.

  • 5 day update

    Wow! So many talented VAs out there! Thank you for all the auditions. I've been listening to them as they come in and they're all so amazing! Thank you for taking the time to audition for them, especially for the lead role(Sorry for making those lines so long hehe...). I've considered adding a few new roles to help break up the trailer voices(new broadcasters, male family and friends, female family and friends), but haven't quite made that decision yet.

    I intended to keep the project up for as long as it takes to finish the game and the trailer, which I gave myself 2 weeks to finish. Though this might be extended as needed due any potential IRL stuff taking priority. If that happens I will post another update.

Character age: 16 to mid twenties

She will be the driving point of the game, and thus will need a lot of emotion to help capture the player and make them want to find her. She's very goofy, and often put's on a fake reaction to help get views for her online video series where she explores creepy and abandoned areas. Because of this, you find hidden voice recordings of her leading up to the moment she went missing. Each tape get's more and more serious, to the point where she isn't faking a reaction anymore.

This will be for the trailer. It'll be a mix of voice mails from friends and family, to news anchors reporting her missing. The trailer will start off with more casual "where you at" lines and get progressively more intense / worried as time goes on and as she is officially reported missing. I'll be selecting a few people for this role.
