Incident Archive: Case 01 – Dead Air | Roblox Horror Game

Project Overview

About the Project

Incident Archive is a story-driven bodycam horror game being developed on Roblox by Red Hollow Studios.

The first episode, Case 01: Dead Air, follows Officer Daniel Ward as he responds alone to a late-night welfare check at 14 Bracken Lane. Inside the house, Ward discovers an entity capable of listening through electronic devices and imitating the voices it hears.

The experience focuses on grounded police dialogue, psychological horror, unsettling radio transmissions, player choices and multiple endings. Although the game is being developed on Roblox, it is intended for an older audience and performances should be natural, serious and believable rather than exaggerated or aimed at children.

The completed episode is expected to last approximately 25–35 minutes.

Production Status

The game is currently in active development. Its story, characters and main gameplay structure have been planned, and voice recordings will be implemented as development progresses.

Selected actors will receive:

  • A complete script for their character

  • Context and performance direction for each scene

  • A clearly agreed deadline

  • Credit within the finished game

  • A guaranteed flat payment for the agreed work

  • Deliver a natural performance suitable for grounded horror

  • Be available through Casting Call Club messages or Discord

  • Be willing to provide one reasonable round of corrected or replacement lines

The agreed payment includes the completed character script and one reasonable round of pickups. Any substantial additional dialogue written later will be paid separately.

Role assigned to: Karla Wren

Leah Cole is a calm, experienced emergency dispatcher with a natural General American accent. Her real transmissions are professional, controlled and reassuring.

The same actor will also voice an entity imitating Leah. The imitation begins with unnatural pauses and incorrect emphasis, but gradually becomes almost indistinguishable from the real dispatcher. Both versions must clearly sound like the same person.

Approximately 40–60 lines. Natural, grounded performances only. A clean microphone and the ability to deliver unedited WAV files are required.

  • Unit 12, respond to 14 Bracken Lane for a welfare check. Caller is Evelyn Mercer, age seventy-two. Emergency line remained open with no verbal response.

  • Unit 12, confirm your status. You have been inside the address for approximately six minutes.

Paid: Flat Rate 75 GBP
Role assigned to: CelineLeBlanc

Evelyn Mercer is a frightened but intelligent seventy-two-year-old homeowner. She has been trapped inside her house while something uses telephones and radios to imitate the voices it hears—including the voice of her deceased husband.

Evelyn is exhausted and scared, but she is not helpless. She understands more about the entity than anyone else and tries to help Officer Ward recognise which voices are real.

The performance should feel natural, serious and emotionally grounded. Evelyn must not sound like a stereotypical “creepy old woman.” The actor should be capable of performing quiet fear, urgent whispers and emotionally intense dialogue without becoming exaggerated.

Voice age: approximately 65–80. General American accent preferred. Approximately 45–65 lines. A clean microphone and the ability to provide unedited WAV recordings are required.

  • Turn your radio off. Please—don’t let it hear you.

  • That telephone hasn’t been connected since my husband died. The first time it spoke, it sounded like him.

  • That’s what it told the other officer. He went downstairs…and I never saw him come back.

Officer Daniel Ward is the player character and a serving patrol officer responding alone to a late-night welfare check.

Ward begins the incident calm, observant and professional. As the situation becomes increasingly unnatural, his fear should become noticeable without overwhelming his police training. He is not an action hero—his dialogue should feel like genuine police radio communication and natural conversation.

Some of Ward’s dialogue is repeated and imitated by the entity through telephones, radios and bodycam recordings. The actor may therefore be asked to perform unsettling variations of certain lines.

Voice age: approximately 25–40. General American accent preferred. Approximately 20–35 lines. A clean microphone and the ability to provide unedited WAV recordings are required.

  • Police department. Evelyn Mercer? If you’re inside, call out to me.

  • Dispatch, Unit 12. Can you confirm whether there have been any previous calls at this address?

  • Evelyn, stay behind me. Whatever you hear, do not answer it.

Officer Marcus Cross is a patrol officer who disappeared after responding to the same address three nights before Officer Ward.

Cross is heard mainly through recordings recovered from his damaged bodycam. He begins calm, professional and cautious, but gradually becomes confused and terrified as he realises that the voice directing him through the house may not be the real dispatcher.

The performance should remain grounded and believable. Cross is a trained police officer trying to control his fear—not an exaggerated horror character. The actor must be comfortable performing tense breathing, quiet panic and a final moment of terrified realisation.

Voice age: approximately 30–50. General American accent preferred. Approximately 10–15 lines. A clean microphone and the ability to provide unedited WAV recordings are required.

  • Dispatch, I located the resident. She says something is moving inside the walls.

Paid: Flat Rate 30 GBP

Harold Mercer was Evelyn Mercer’s husband, who died several years before the events of the game. He is never encountered alive; his voice is heard through an old telephone after the entity inside the house begins imitating him.

The voice should initially sound warm, familiar and reassuring—the kind of voice Evelyn would immediately recognise and want to trust. However, subtle unnatural pauses, repeated words and misplaced emotion should gradually reveal that the speaker is not really Harold.

The performance must remain restrained and believable. Harold should not sound like an obvious monster or stereotypical horror villain. The unsettling quality should come from an otherwise loving voice saying things in a slightly unnatural way.

Voice age: approximately 60–80. General American accent preferred. Approximately 5–10 lines. A clean microphone and the ability to provide unedited WAV recordings are required.

  • Evelyn? It’s me. Pick up the telephone, sweetheart.

  • Everything is all right now. Come downstairs, and we can be together again.

  • Officer, she isn’t safe up there. Bring Evelyn to the basement.
