Project Overview
Turning a fanfiction of Inception into an audio drama.
Summary:
Christi, Ariadne's roommate and best friend, is concerned when Ariadne starts acting strange after a mysterious meeting with someone at her school. She convinces her to take the job she had been offered, and as a result, Christi is unintentionally thrown into the plot to plant an idea into Robert Fischer's mind.
At first, Christi freaks out at being in the dream world where nothing is as it seems. But as time goes on, she begins to find herself invested in the whole plan and determined to see it through.
Along the way, she begins to develop unexplainable feelings for the forger: Eames. While in the dream state, she will discover more about herself than she ever imagine.

Fischer’s had an extractor teach his subconscious to defend itself, so his subconscious is militarized. It should’ve shown in the research. I’m sorry.
(demanding) And you, you knew about this and went along with it? (Y: I trusted him.) You trusted him. When? When he promised you half his share? (Y: No…his whole share. Besides, he said he’s done it before.) He’s done it before, what, with Mal? ‘Cause that worked so good?
The projections are closing in quick. We gotta break out of here before we’re totally boxed in.
British forger; can change his apperance into anyone while in the dream world; a suave charmer
(as Christi passes out in his arms after Cobb sedates her) Don’t worry, darling. You’re going to be alright.
A totem is a small object with a difference that only you know. It helps you determine if you’re dreaming or not so you don’t lose touch with reality. Look at your necklace, and figure out what’s different about it.
Look, Christi. What happened while we were on the plane…we may have been in a dream, but what we felt was real.

(to Eames) What’re you doing? (Oh, I’m sorry, we thought it was free.) Well, it’s not. (E: Maybe we could share.) Maybe not. Can you pull over and get this— (a gun is pointed at him) Great.
We're worth more to you alive. You hear me?
Christi loved to run more than anything. She felt like all her problems went away while she was running, and she had the best place in the world to run around in. Paris was gorgeous and full of amazing scenery that she got to see almost every day when she ran past it.
Cobb’s foot bounced up and down in nervous anticipation. He kept sneaking glances over at Christi, each time relieved to find her still knocked out. He had given her a pretty powerful drug, and it helped that she had just been sedated.
They were from completely different worlds. He was some poker-playing forger, and she was a hard-working nursing student. How could it work?

(quiet, shaky) Ari? I—I’ve been taken. I’m in the back of a van.(A: Who took you?) I don’t know. There’s two men. I keep hearing the word…Cobol.
How am I supposed to calm down when I’ve been forced into this whole thing completely against my will?! You are all crazy!
Look…all of this just…isn’t my world. I don’t want to be a forger, and I don’t want to go inside people’s dreams. I just want to get back to school in Paris, become a nurse, and forget that any of this ever happened. I’m sorry.
Christi's best friend studying architecture; calm and level-headed; extremely smart
We get out of each layer by using what’s called a kick. It’s the feeling you get when you’re falling in your sleep and you jolt in bed and wake up. Without that, we could be trapped for a while.
(to Cobb) Your guilt defines her. It’s what powers her. But you are not responsible for the idea that destroyed her. And if we are gonna succeed in this, you have to forgive yourself. And you’re gonna have to confront her. But you don’t have to do that alone.
Christi, what’s going on with you? (C: Nothing.) We both know that’s not true. It wouldn’t have anything to do with Eames, now would it?
The leader of the whole plan; haunted by the death of his wife
Alright, here’s the short version. My name’s Dom Cobb, those two in the taxi are Arthur and Saito, the one next to you is Yusuf, and this guy is Eames. Our job is to go inside people’s minds while they’re asleep and extract information. Only this time, we’re putting information there.
(about Mal) She had locked something away, something deep inside her. A truth that she had once known, but chose to forget. Limbo became her reality.
There’s no use in reviving him. His mind’s already trapped down there. It’s all over.
an Asian man who promises Cobb freedom if the job is completed; gets shot on the first layer and must tough out the rest of the job; Japanese accent is preferred but not required for consideration
(in a lot of pain) Cobb. I will still honor the arrangement. No. I’ll come back. And we’ll be young men together again.
(dryly) Very amusing, Mr. Eames.
Fischer's godfather who the team manages to get Fischer to turn against in order to repair the relationship between him and his father
(when Saito says he mistook him for someone else) Oh. Good looking fella, I’m sure.
(as Eames) Fischer’s godfather, Browning. Had to become someone he trusted.
