YouTube Series: I re-write the "singing Killed my Grandma" scene from Trolls

Hi y'all!
This is an audition for a new YouTube series I'm starting on my channel entitled "I rewrite," where I rewrite movie scenes that didn't quite sit well with the audience.
For the first installment, I decided to start with a scene from DreamWorks' Trolls where we have the iconic (but not really) "singing killed my Grandma" line that made audiences laugh rather than take the scene seriously. So I'm gonna change that!
This is suppose to be a fun project, but I do expect a certain amount of professionalism and quality when it comes to content creating, so I implore all auditionees to please read instructions carefully to keep things efficient as possible.
-Make sure you have a good quality mic, anything better than a snowball would suffice.
-Please, no unsolicited demo reels or samples, I just want to hear the audition material provided on this page.
-No background noise, no white noise, etc. Sound reduction is allowed.
-Limit 2 takes per line, except for the singing role (read instructions under role)

Branch is the over-cautious paranoid survivalist in Troll Village, who lives in fear of invasion from the Bergens. The only troll in the village who doesn't sing, dance, or hug, Branch lives a disgruntled existence, constantly trying to prepare for the worst. He's constantly flummoxed by the over-the-top positivity of the other Trolls - is he the only sane one in this crowd of exuberantly happy Trolls?

For the last time Poppy, I can’t sing!
Singing was banned during Trollstice. (Beat) Your Dad made that rule when so many Trolls kept getting eaten. All the Bergens had to do was listen for the sounds of our voice and then–they snatch you up.
...I haven’t sung a note since.
Poppy is the relentlessly upbeat — if slightly naive — Troll whose father King Peppy saved his subjects from the Troll-hungry Bergens. As she and her group of nine friends, the Snack Pack, face their biggest challenge ever, Poppy is faced for the first time in her life with a problem that apparently can't be solved with a song, a dance and a hug. But after some hilarious attempts at saving the day, Poppy discovers that being true to yourself is always the best answer.

I don’t understand you, Branch! How can you stand watching someone in pain, and not do anything about it?! The least you could do to make her feel better is sing–
Are you always going to choose to be unhappy and miserable that nobody wants you around?!
I want you around, Branch. (Beat) My dad always said: “No Troll left behind”, and when everyone said I should give up trying to invite you to our parties, I–I couldn’t do it. You’re one of us!
