I Know You, But How
Project Overview
I Know You, But How is a novel I wrote a while back, that I'd like to turn into an audio book. It has to do with a love that was thought to be lost, so long ago. One day, though, Gustave sees who he thinks is, but isn't sure, his lost love. Caleigh is at first confused about who Gustave is, but later on realizes she does know him. She also has/has been having dreams about her life with him from before, but as Aleena.

Caleigh is the main role of the story, as well as the narrator. She's an 18 year old girl who, one day, runs into someone who she thinks she's never met. As time goes on, though, she realizes she does know him. She knew him, and was in love with him, many years ago, but as Aleena.

*A long dark hallway with a few candles on the walls, thunder, lightning, that's what I see and hear. Not much else. I look around me, not really sure if I'm alone or not. I start to walk forward, not sure where to go or really where I am. Yet, the place looks familiar to me, really familiar. I don't know why it does. As I walk, I realize I don't hear my own footsteps. Thunder I hear but not my own footsteps. Why? After walking for a while, I hear someone calling to me. They're using a different name, one I feel like I know but I'm not sure where I know it from. I feel myself running towards the one who's calling me, knowing where he is but not sure how I know. Before I can find him, though, he finds me and wraps his arms around me. I'm not scared, though. I'm actually happy to see him. I can somewhat make out his face, as I look at him. He calls me by that name again, Aleena. It's not my name, but instead of saying that I smile at him and tell him how much I missed him and how much I couldn't wait to marry him.~
"Why do you think I'm Aleena? Where am I? Why did you bring me here? I want to know."
"This is impossible. How could she look like me, well me look like her? I'm starting to really think, though, that maybe I am Aleena. There's all these dreams I've had, and I feel like I've been in this place before."
Heather is Caleigh's best friend. She in the beginning of the story. Caleigh tells her about her dream. She's also there when Gustave first shows up.

"You're right. I just...I don't know. It seems really weird."
"Yeah, she's really not who you think she is. We don't even know who Aleena is."
Gustave is the male lead in the story. He is a 120 year old vampire who is also a Prince. He lost his love many years ago. One day, though, he ends running into Caleigh and starts calling her Aleena. He's confused why she doesn't recognize him. After spending time with her for awhile, though, he is at first unsure(when Aleena shows up) but eventually happy because Caleigh/Aleena remembers him and their time together.

"My love, why do you seem so afraid of me? You were never surprised to see me. You have always been extremely happy to be around me."
I am a bit forlorn at the moment, Cerise. My love, Miss Aleena, does not remember me. She has insisted more than once that her name is Caleigh and that she is not Aleena. She does not remember much of her time here."
Henry is one of the servants. He was there when Aleena was living with Gustave, many years ago. He's one of the minor roles. His lines happen a bit later in the story, answering Caleigh/Aleena's question in regards to how long she's been away.

Cerise is another one of the servants, that was also there when Aleena was still around many years ago. When she sees Caleigh, she thinks that she has a fever. She thinks of Caleigh as Aleena and doesn't understand how she wouldn't remember being there.

Mirabelle is Gustave's Mother. She knew who Aleena was and was glad that her and Gustave were to be married. She shows up somewhat later in the story. Also, she is a Vampire and had felt when Caleigh/Aleena had become a Vampire herself.

Lawrence is Emma's Husband and the male villain of the story. He's also the one who disrupted things between Gustave and Aleena.

Emma is Gustave's sister and the female villain of the story. She shows up in Chapter 10 and is one of the one's responsible keeping Aleena and Gustave from each other.

I'm looking for someone who can add sound effects(e.g. walking, running, moving branches out of the way, etc.) that would fit with the different things that are going on in the Audiobook, as well as mixing and polishing.
