Heyo~ This will be my first official project. As such, I've decided to dub a manhwa that I've absolutely fallen in love with~♥
Here's what it's about:
The story of "I Don't Want This Kind of Hero" is centered around an average, everyday high school student named Naga. The only difference is that he possesses a variety of psychic abilities. Learning of his abilities, two opposing organizations vie for his attention; one being a hero organization known as Spoon and the other a villain organization known as Knife. While his moral standing is not entirely good, Naga really doesn't want to get involved with villains, so he goes with Spoon in hopes of being protected... But mostly because of the volunteer hours they give him. This is a fun manhwa full of slapstick comedy and charismatic characters. Even the villains have some aspect about them that someone can like... With a few exceptions (Lady).
*COUGH* I mean. Yeeeeah~ I love all of these characters. Hue~

Basic requirements:
At least decent audio quality. Limited reverberation, background noise, etc. I'm not looking for perfection, but at least know how to use noise reduction on Audacity if room noise is gonna be a problem.
Must have a USB or XLR microphone. No headset mics. Yada yada.
Discord is required if you get cast. If you don't have one, then please make one! It takes like 5 minutes. xD
To answer potential questions that might arise:
1. For male characters such as Guineung, Stell, and Orca who's childhood versions are introduced at some point, I will most likely just ask one of the female va's to voice them unless their actual va can pull off a convincing child voice. Additionally, any va for an adult character who has a teenage counterpart shall also voice them.
2. As there are A LOT of minor characters in this manhwa, a casting call page will be made at later dates for minor characters and extras who appear for every 5 or so chapters at a time. However, a separate page might be made for minor characters who make more appearances apart from their respective mini-arcs such as Naga's school friends, the other Spoon staff members, Gregor, and Youngjeong. The only reason I don't include these characters as supporting roles is because, while they are relatively important, they are not present for the majority of the plot developing arcs.
3. I know that the chapters are labeled as "Episodes" in the actual comic, but I found it easier to refer to them as chapters. The chapter references for each set of audition lines should still match the episode numbers.
4. I will offer feedback where I see the need to. I will also redirect auditioners to a different role, if I feel their voice would fit it better.
5. If I am torn between two or more different auditions for a role, I will hold live callbacks for the potential cast members in question on discord. If you are not willing to schedule a time to do the callback or fail to meet with me after 3 attempts, then I will automatically cast the role to the remaining person. This is only a requirement BECAUSE- (continued on 6)
6. All lead and support role lines will be done by live direction for the actual project. KNOW THAT THIS IS A REQUIREMENT. Sorry if you're uncomfortable with or unused to live direction. If that's gonna be an issue, then feel free to auditions for the minor character casting call pages that I'm gonna make later down the line. I'm willing to be a little more lenient on those roles, excluding the characters who show up more than once.
7. Feel free to audition for however many roles you want. Just know that I will only cast a single person up to 3 roles, since I feel that tacking on any more than that will be too much for one person to handle. More specifically: 1 lead role and 1 supporting role or 3 supporting roles. Of course, this does not mean you are assured 3 roles or even 2. It just depends on whether or not I think your voices both fit each individual character/sound significantly different from your other auditions. If you do go for more than one character, I recommend checking out what chapter their first appearance is so that you know if it will be a bit before they show up or not.
8. Feel free to audition however many times you want. However, if you submit a second audition for the same role and I did not give you any feedback beforehand, I would like a message specifically stating why you sent in another.
9. Other than audio and visual editors, no roles will be cast before the deadline. As long as you don't miss it, you don't have to worry about someone else landing the role before you get a chance to audition. Roles will also not be cast based on upvotes and will be judged and handled by me and a few trusted, unbiased individuals. Any roles that I'm undecided on or don't have enough auditions by the deadline will remain open and a new deadline will be created. Although by that point, I'll start casting them as they come.
