Hunger Games Audiobook(?)
Project Overview
Hi!
So this casting call is UTTERLY terrible because I'm not sure if there would be any interest.
But in light of the recent release of Sunrise and the Reaping, I wanted to give this a shot.
The plan is to do an audiobook of the first book with a FULL CAST instead of with just one narrator. Each part with be a separate voice actor, so the narrator will just focus on the text and not Katniss' part in addition.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 18+ due to dark themes as well as comfortability with me working with my actors.
Please have a decent microphone and recording environment. Doesn't need to be fancy, but I would like as little background noise and as best of recording quality as possible.

(HAYMITCH) Great, pretty girl wants to know how to survive. She should realize there isn't no surviving the Hunger Games if you come from District 12. Unless you are me, of course, but I would give anything to have died there. If I had, I wouldn't have to train all these kids only to waste my time while they die in the first few hours. Her persistence is so annoying too. Why don't she just leave me alone while I find more drink?
(PEETA) I don't know how to say it exactly. Only...I want to die as myself. I don't want them to change me in there. Turn me into some kind of monster that I'm not. I keep wishing I could think of a way to...to show the Capitol that they don't own me. That I'm more than just a piece in their Games.
(CATO) Go on, shoot. And we both go down, and you win. Go on. I'm dead, anyway! I always was, right? I didn't know that until now. Isn't that what they want, huh? No! I can still do this. I can still do this. One more kill. It's the only thing I know how to do. Bring pride to my district. Not that it matters.

(CLOVE) Where’s lover boy? Oh I see. You’re gonna help him right? That’s sweet. Now, it’s too bad you couldn’t help your little friend. That little girl… what was her name again? Rue? Yeah. Well we killed her. And now… We’re gonna kill you…
(RUE) I'm usually up highest, so I'm the first to see the flag that signals quitting time. There's a special little song I do. And the mockingjays spread it around the orchard. That's how everyone knows to knock off.
