Humanoid Slugcat Universe (HSU) [13+]
Project Overview
A Rain world AU that takes place in a random rain-proof bunker in the middle of nowhere. It's not deserted though, many anthropomorphic slugcat's reside there. One of the slugcats that call that place home is a green, oddly fuzzy individual named Saint, wise and having lived for several cycles. Now, they're mentoring the highly impressionable, but caring Monk. Along the way, secrets begin to unravel, trust is broken and the found family that was built begins to fall apart. Saint themselves also has much to hide, what is it? Can Monk find out in time? All will be explained in time.

Voice Actor
The aim is to sound like you're over life, a bit of a stereotypical mom voice but just more fed up in some ways. (don't make it tooo stereotypical now). Her cadence is a bit rough and tumble, and has the faintest hint of a southern accent. She talks at a moderate/slightly slower speed and her voice is on the lower side. The aim is to sound like a louder, more confident fluttershy, whose cadence is semi-formal (thanks to the influence of Saint) and talks at a moderate/fast speed. She has an airy voice, light as a feather, and when dealing with stressful emotions she usually sounds screechy (don't overdo it though, can't have it sound annoying). The aim is to get a cool, older brother type of voice with a mild rasp. Hunter's cadence is more collected and calm, but still sounds like he'd be a good collage friend of yours. He has a deeper voice than average but only a tad. He talks at a moderate speed. When feeling intense emotions, he gets eerily quiet and wispy, as if seeing something that wasn't there, or maybe he did. Who knows! Good luck : )

The aim is to give him a jovial fun uncle kind of voice, with some bubblyness. Gourmand is slightly high pitched (only just a tad though) and his cadence is very slow, measured but also enthusiastic, having a pinch of a southern accent (similar to Survivor and Artificer!) He talks slightly slower than average and when expressing emotions, he'll completely drop his fun-guy attitude and get way more serious. The aim is to give her a deep, raspy voice. I don't have any comparisons to that but I will say that her cadence is not formal at all, she's more ghetto/street oriented if anything and has the same hint of southern accent (like Survivor! That's where she got it from). She talks at a slightly slower speed and emotion wise, she usually will sound rather cocky and up her high horse. The aim is to give them somewhat of a feminine leaning voice, almost wind chime-like(though they are very mid toned when it comes to pitch, they aren't up high and they are down low either). They have a street oriented cadence (similar to Artificer) and they talk at a moderate speed, whatever we're translating from their whistling anyway. When expressing emotion they can lower their voice significantly and can sound mighty intimidating. Good luck : )

The aim is to give them a more neutral voice but it is high pitched, squeaky even. Inv has a cadence of abbreviations, they'll speak very loosely and pronouce certain words differently, with a bit of street lingo to boot! (example of what I mean, wat versus what). They speak at a moderate speed and when expressing emotion they'll sound whiny or desperate. (Because they are! It's part of being a hopeless romantic.) The aim is to sound analytical, almost like your studying a subject. Watcher has a dreamy, somewhat airy voice almost weirdly nostalgic in a way. Their voice is slightly lower pitch and their cadence is that of some sort of researcher (because they are!) and they talk at a moderate/slightly fast pace. When losing their cool, they tend to be impulsive, almost child-like in a way, wanting to do the first thing that comes to mind. For Sage and Valient, they speak together due to being tethered to the void and the both of them can't actually be seperated whilst outside it.
