Housepets! is a webcomic created by Rick Griffin that has been going on since 2008. The comic is centered around the lives of various anthropomorphic pets, including dogs, cats, ferrets, and rabbits, who live in a suburban neighborhood called the Babylonian Gardens. The main characters are a dog named Peanut Butter and a cat named Grape Jelly, who are adopted by a loving family. The comic follows their daily adventures as they interact with other pets and their owners, and often find themselves in comedic situations.

We will start at the beginning of the comic (of course) and so far I've only planned to go up to chapter 11 and then take a little break before deciding if we will go further as the comic is very long and would be very hard to finish. Chapters 1-11 will be split into 4 videos. If you decide to join please try to keep in mind this project might be long so be prepared to stay committed if you get the role. You are allowed to try out for as many roles as you like, if you want to get cast as two different pets then try to change how you sound for each. Hey Everyone! I'm creating this update to tell you that the project closes tomorrow and casting will begin this weekend! I'm very excited to pick from your auditions. I will assign each character by the end of Monday night, so be on the lookout.

Peanut is a energetic and happy dog. He's innocent and can be not so smart sometimes, but he has a caring personality. I like to imagine he has a higher pitched voice, but if you think different give it you're best try!

Grape isn't as outgoing as Peanut, but she is a creative and brave cat. She's sassy and sarcastic at times and seen more as a tomboy cat, or Tomcat :D

Bino Has a big ego and is self centered. Generally just a jerk. Bino plays a decently big role in chapters 1-11.

Fido is the older brother of Bino and Joey and is a co founder of the good ol' dogs club. He's generally an upstanding person that all the dogs love. He has a secret girlfriend named Sabrina who is a cat which he keeps a secret for awhile. His first appearance in the comic is him returning from K9 training.

The main mouse is named Karl-Lenin Faust. He plays a decent role in a smaller arc where he tries to protest society before eventually getting eaten. The reason I say mice in the name of the role is because he has some friends that back him up. All that would be needed is just different squeaky voices for the mice.

Sasha is overly energetic dog and one of the least intelligent dogs in the series. She has a dark home as her owner is an alcoholic. Doesn't get explored until later in the comic. Sasha only appears in 4 pages of the comic in chapters 1-11.

Brother of Bino and Fido, Joey is a real oddball. He starts out a bit weirder then becomes more of a anime loving geek. Plays more of a supporting role.

Rex is just a supporting Character Who I imagine with a gruff voice. He only has one or two lines and a part where he sings It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year.

Tigers main thing in the beginning of the comic is that he gets made fun of for having a name that is in the feline species and it drives him crazy. He's A pretty Small Character.

These are just one off characters that show up in a zoo arc so I'll just put some lines below that you can read off. There's a tiger, otters, kangaroos that put on a fake Australian accent, a wolf, and a zookeeper. If you want to try the kangaroos just say some Australian things. It doesn't have to be good, it's mainly just for show.

In the beginning it just introduces Pete as a figment of a dream but in actuality he is a god/celestial. Later on he develops a jerk personality, but as of chapter 1-11 he has a very minor role. He is also griffin.

Marvin is Tigers brother who is a cat. Marvin usually helps control Tiger when he get's out of hand. Has a minor role.

Max is a brother to Bino. Max tries to be cool and romantic cat, but deep down has some insecurities. He dates Grape later on in the story, but for now he's mainly a side character.
