Project Overview
What is "HoneyWorks"?
HoneyWorks is an independent music circle, and the creator of Confession Executive Committee; a series of songs with a shojo-manga-like feel.They have a bunch of different stories in the form of songs, that all play in the same universe. And they all tell of many different kinds of relationships; be it romance, friendship, or family- there’s something for everyone.
What is this project?
I've been a Honeyworks fan for years now, and I've always been amazed by how many different stories there are- and how they're all unique and connected! I want to bring shape to those stories in a hopefully more easily digestible form, by further expanding on the "Precious Story" concept from the mobile game. Those “Precious Stories” were 1-3 minute long events with about 30 parts each, retelling the stories of the characters in a form similar to a visual novel. But due to those stories being a part of a mobile game, they were a little restricted in what they could do- so I hope to create a series of videos in a similar style. And of course, I'll need Voice Actors for that!
Any requirements?
1) Good Microphone Quality.
2) Please have a Discord account!
3) You need to be able to work with deadlines; because while I do not mind extending them for a certain amount of time, there is a limit on how long I can extend them.
Note that you do not need to be able to sing! If we do work on the Honeyworks songs later down the line, a seperate casting will be held for the singing voices. Thank you!

Arisa used to ignore her own compassion in an attempt to fit in. When a fellow student got bullied- she desperately wanted to help, but couldn't bring herself to do so. She was scared that if she spoke up against them, she would be hated as well... thus, she buried her compassion deep inside her. Until, due to a certain incident, she finally managed to build up enough courage to stand up for what she believed was right. She stood up for the bullied girl- and as she expected, got bullied in return... but she didn't regret it, because she finally stood up for herself.
Now, Arisa is a courageous and outgoing girl, willing to stand up for her friends, no matter what. She's still not the best at communicating, due to her deeply rooted fear of being abandoned- but she's doing her best on a day-to-day basis. And that's what matters.
Arisa should have a rather high and expressive voice.
[Excited, meeting her idol]
I can't believe I'm going to the same school as you, Sena-san! I've read all your magazines and watched all your shows! Oh, I especially loved that one issue of "Fashion Regular," where you were hired as a hair model. That hair-arrangement was so well done and looked so cute!
[Frustrated, talking about Ken]
“I know that he’s a good person… But that’s exactly why I don’t know how to deal with him! It'd be one thing if he was a bad person- I could handle that- But at this point, I'm not sure if he's serious about wanting to become friends or not. I can’t get too close to someone anymore. I don’t want it all to repeat again…”
[Flustered, after Ken confessed to her]
I mean, it's not like I... dislike you. If I had to pick between "loving," or "hating" you... I'd say I... like you a bit... I guess.
But- I can't go out with you! I know that stuff like dating comes easy to you, but I... I've never done this sort of thing before. So can we... take it a bit more slowly?[Ken smiles and holds out his hand, telling her he'll take it as slowly as she wants.]
Okay. Then we're gonna start out from here... as proper friends now!
Kotarou is a very loud and hot-heated boy, quick to anger and to be annoyed. Ken and Koudai are his best friends, and together they form the so-called “Idiot Trio” in Sakuragaoka Highschool. He’s proud and protective of his friends and family, being the first to convince Arisa that Ken really isn’t a bad guy and protecting Hina when she’s bothered by strangers at the beach. He’s a star player in the football team, and his friends often come to his games to cheer him on.
(He also has a huge crush on Hina Setoguchi, but you didn't hear that from me.)
I'd like a typical hot-headed anime protagonist voice for him!
[Slightly embarrassed, Talking to Hina, his crush and childhood friend]
"Hey, uh. Today's my first game as a regular on the football team, so... I wanted to ask you to come watch me. Ken, Arisa, and Kodai are coming, too. I mean, it's fine if you're busy, but..."
[Two random guys are harrassing Hina at the beach. He runs in to help, angry.]
"Don't touch her! What the hell's wrong with you?! You think you can just walk around and do whatever you want? You better piss off right now, or else you're gonna regret it."
[Proudly talking about Ken. Trying to tell Arisa that he really is a good guy.]
Heh… yeah, he really can be irritating. But even though he's annoying sometimes, Shibaken’s still a really good guy, you know? Heck, back in middle school, he-"
Hina is a very cheerful and popular girl, very over the top and expressive. She’s a student at Sakuragaoka Highschool, alongside Ken, Arisa, Kotarou and Kodai. She’s a great friend, very perceptive of her friends’ emotions, and she always has a piece of advice for them when they need it. She can get annoyed very easily regarding Kotarou- especially his hot-headedness… although over the years, she grows to like it, and falls in love with him for it.
I want her to have a really expressive voice to accompany her personality!
[Asking Arisa if she wants to do a group project with her]
"Hey Takamizawa! We can be partners! Kako-chan stayed home today, so I'm free. Do you wanna meet up at the library later to work on it together?"
[Upset at Kotaro]
"Kotaro!! You seriously broke Shibasaki-kun's phone? Come on, that's the whole reason we're even in this mess! Gosh, I can't believe you!
[Realizing that she has feelings for Kotaro]
"Everytime my friends asked me who Kotaro was to me, I just said "He's a childhood friend"... And that was honestly how I felt, since there was someone else I've liked for a long time. But... recently, Kotaro has honestly thrown me for a loop. Especially today."
Aizo is Ken's brother, an idol, and one of the main-characters of the Idol Series.
In public, Aizo is a sociable character, chatty and friendly to everyone he meets. Public reports of his idol persona label him as very amiable and easy to approach. In reality though, he gets irritated easily and can be very snappy to others. He tries to show his support for his friends through his own means, though he often struggles with it, and despite his rough exterior, he has a soft spot for them.
Aizou and Ken might not seem to get along very well at the beginning, but despite being embarrassed to show it (Aizo moreso than Ken) they love each other a lot and are always there for one another.
I'd like a fairly elegant voice for his idol persona, and a rough, annoyed voice for his actual persona.
[On stage, elegantly talking to his fans]
"My dearest Juliettas! Thank you so much for coming to our special White Day event! I wish for nothing more than you to enjoy our gifts to you!"
[Annoyed at Ken, sarcastic]
"How come you're not bragging about going out with a million different girls anymore? It's not like you."
[Laughing at his partner, Yujiro, and his horrible attempt at trying to apologize to him. (Lovingly making fun of him)]
"Haha, seriously! I get what you're saying, but come on! You couldn't have written your apology a little bigger? It's so small, and on the very corner, of the Pocky Box, too! Still... Thank you, too."
