Hello! Welcome to the casting call for...
HOMESTUCK FANDUBS!
In Homestuck project, we will be casting people to, of course, voiceact as Homestuck characters for either fancomics, or MSPaintAdventures/Homestuck itself.
This casting call will include the roles of both alpha and beta trolls and kids, ancestors, and experienced editors for sound.
Please allow me to contact you on Skype, here via PM, and/or messaging via phone-number or Pesterchum. Please cooperate with me, as I would like to finish and/or finalize casting roles by my birthday, or by Christmas.

Aradia usually speaks in a flat tone, as if she knew she were already doomed (which she does, paradoxically and technically speaking. Well, she actually is already dead). But, on more than just a few occasions, she has a more emotive tone, like in line one. When using her quirk, she speaks/types in all lowercase, has no use of apostraphes, and replaces o's, regardless of capitalization, with 0's (zeroes). As mentioned before, Aradia's voice would more than likely be flat, and sometimes be sentimental.

(Btw, "RELEV8NCE" = "RELEVANCE", "EVERY88DY" = "EVERYBODY") Vriska is a die-hard troll, and has been seen throughout a lot of Homestuck as somewhat pessimistic (at times), sarcastic, manipulative, bullheaded (ba-dum-tssss), and bloodthirsty (seeing as she likes to pester, manipulate, and kill Tavros). She wields her VISION EIGHTFOLD, being able to see into Doc Scratch's cue ball without being a Seer, and is able to steal all of her opponents' luck, eventually gaining all the luck. ALL OF IT. And, along with her Thief of Light powers, she is able to rig outcomes of things, or judges of outcomes of things. She also has all the irons in the fire. ALL OF THEM. When using her quirk, she replaces b's, regardless of capitalization, and vowels that are homophones to the word, 'eight' with an '8' (most commonly, long 'a' vowels). (i.e. '8ITCH', '8urgundy', '8n't', etc.) Although, when Vriska is mad, angered, or just overly-dramatic or pessimistic, she tends to knock out random vowels with '8's, seen in line two. Her voice can be considered like a voice from 'Mean Girls', as the girls are probably as sarcastic and stubborn as Vriska.

His voice would probably match his personality; dull, uninterested, and rarely concerned.

Rose is a more or less serious girl, her unfaltering, yet resolute personality expressed through her apt vocabulary. Despite numerous headcanons, Rose is shown (sometimes) in Homestuck to let loose, and is not limited to cursing (as shown in line 3). She is not completely apathetic, unlike Dave Strider, her paradox brother. She is able to show empathy, so while voiceacting Rose, please use a little sentiment or some emotion.
I want to know things about him.
Such as, if he shares his elder counterpart's avarice for soft puppet ass.
And if that, combined with his myriad, vaguely unsettling psychological peculiarities, could occupy a dedicated team of therapists for years.
It apparently needs to be "prototyped".

Equius is a calm, STRONG troll who strictly goes by the Hemospectrum, calling who seem to be 'lowbloods' (even if they are just human) 'stink-bloods', 'inferior', or just downright lowbloods. His moirail, Nepeta Leijon, does not care for blood colour. Although, hypocritical to Equius' rude remarks about lowbloods, he adores Aradia Megido, a burgundy-blooded troll, and has gone as far as making her a robotic body with blue blood. Upon mentioning, 'adore', Equius has a fondness for animals, expressed in line one when he talks about Nepeta's habit of hunting. When using his quirk, he replaces 'loo' and any similar homophone with '100', and x's, 'sc's, 'ck's, or 'ch's with %. He also occasionally uses hoofbeast puns. His voice would be calm, and at times, a bit shaky, and at some point, STRONG.

Feferi is the highest blooded troll, being a seadweller, a former heiress and alternate empress, and being a fuschia blood. She is cheery, happy, and optimistic, even in the most uncalled for, unessessary, inappropriate, and/or most grim times. Unlike her dancestor and ancestor, she cares for all life, reflecting her role as a Witch of Life. She is also nautically themed and pretty fuckin' aware of things, like Eridan Ampora, her former Moirail. She also uses nautical puns, and sparingly uses fish puns. These qualities are... cast back (ba dum tssssssss)... by Feferi being immediately aware of the G'lbgolybs (pronounced 'GUH-lib-GOH-lib'), or Horrorterrors, in the Furthest Ring, Dream Bubbles and what exactly they are (as she was the cause for their creation), that she herself is nautically themed, and that she is aware of using and NOT using her own quirk. Her voice would be like Nepeta Leijon's; but imagine it as higher-pitched, monotone singing. As heard in a lot of voices for Feferi, she riffs as she speaks.

Sollux is usually a sarcastic, unbearable troll with a lisp. If you don't get what I mean, just look at the two lines I put down! But, he tends to switch from being insufferable to being somewhat calm, less sarcastic, and more receptive and mindful of things (and trolls). That's when things aren't about to GO TO SHIT, or when Karkat flips HIS SHIT, or when he's dead/half-dead, like in line three. His voice would have his lisp, include sass for his remarks, and hints of (if not, downright) sarcasm. Except for when he's dead/half-dead, basically when he uses Aradia's quirk.

His quirk perfectly matches his speech and personality; all caps, good vocabulary, and lots of cursing. Well, not lots, just something like a few curses here and there, contrary to popular headcanons. His voice would be grumpy, somewhat temperamental (like in line three), aggressive, and raspy.

Nepeta is a kind, caring troll that absolutely loves to roleplay. She is outgoing and has made friends with almost every other troll, and has one official moirail, Equius Zahhak. She always tries to get him to rp with him, but doesn't succeed, so she usually roleplays with Terezi Pyrope. When using her quirk, she uses as many cat puns whenfur pawssipurr! She also states her actions (more on Trollian than in not-so-real life) in between asterisks as a habit from roleplaying so much, and she roleplays as an anthropomorphic cat-lusus with two mouths, possibly referencing her lusus Pounce De Leon. Her voice would be high-pitched, much like what Feferi Peixies' voice is portrayed to be like, maybe a bit higher or lower. Use Apathy Dance's version of a Nepeta Leijon voice as a guide.

Sometimes, he doesn't even know what he's saying, obviated in line 3. He has a large amount of emotional fortitude, meaning that he is sentimental, and at times, stubborn. John is also quite the pranskter; his old chumHandle expresses it itself, "ghostyTrickster", and could possibly be hinting Nannasprite, the sprite of his deceased 'grandmother'/pre-scratch Jane Crocker, who is both a ghost and a trickster. Upon mentioning chumHandle, he had changed it to "ectoBiologist" to avoid trolls, and could reference that he created all the alpha and beta Kids through ectobiology. His voice would probably be like Jake English's, except without the accent and... nerdy. Really nerdy.

Tavros, in most opinions, is a precious wriggler (in our terms, a precious bby). But, his logs and quotes prove otherwise (despite the numerous fandubs/fancomics, fanfics, and fans themselves that perceive him as way too innocent). So, I believe when you audition, add a little sass! Although, it's quite alright if you distinguish him as innocent. When using his quirk, he completely flips normal and proper syntax, using reverse capitalization and commas as periods. (NOTWITHSTANDING THE POPULAR BELIEF THAT TAVROS STUTTERS A LOT AND HAS AN OVERUSE OF COMMAS/PERIODS.) Octopimp's portrayal of Tavros is great, so please use that as a guide of some form.

When using his quirk, he tends to talk and type like mOtHeRfUcKiN tHiS, switching between capital and lowercase simultaneously and continuously. Unless he's sober, he doesn't type with solid capital or lowercase letters (y'all gotta motherfuckin get your rUN ON WHEN HE'S SOBER OH SHIT). His voice would be deep, motherfucking miraculous, and probably Texan. Or motherhonkin something. Octopimp's Gamzee voice is ideally the best, so please use that as a guide. (unless y'all motherfuckers got it down or something)

Eridan is also a sarcastic, pessimistic troll. He strictly goes by the Hemospectrum as much as, if not, more, than Equius Zahhak does. He refers to other trolls by shortened names, such as Kar, Fef, Vris, and Sol. He has broken up with quite a few trolls, and is somewhat desparate to fill his concupiscent quadrants (aka tryin to fill a pail). For example, he was Moirails with Feferi Peixies, and confessed his flushed feelings. They shortly broke up, no longer being moirails. He also broke up with Vriska Serket, no longer being Kimeses with her. Eridan is also not just pessimistic, but he's REALLY fucking aware of things. He downright says that he knows he and Feferi are nautically themed, refusing to use fish puns. When using his quirk, he doubles 'w's and 'v's, making him stutter his w's and pronounce his double v's as w's, referencing his sign as an aquarius. His voice would be somewhat British, like Kanya's, so a voiceactor for Jake English can possibly voiceact Eridan if they could stutter their w's and w pronounce their v's. Or just use a fandub as a reference.

Terezi is a blind tealblood troll that lives for the law (although she is known to break it), saracastic, dutiful (though she is seen to rebel), and intelligent. She uses her senses of smell, taste, and hearing to perceive the world around her, and thus her senses of smell and taste are extremely sharp. When she uses her quirk, she uses 'leetspeak', replacing A, I (as in, capital 'i'), and E with 4, 1, and 3 respectively, creating a '413'. Her voice would be somewhat raspy (depends, though), giggly, and... Terezi-ish.
