  • Only Eight Roles Left!

    Hi everyone! :D

All I have to say is WOW! To be honest, when I posted this casting call a month ago, I didn't expect for it to get the attention it has gotten! Thank you guys so much for your encouragement and enthusiam for this project! I'm super excited to get this show on the road! I am very happy to meet and have all the talented people who have been casted already, and I love you all! <3 This will be a blast!

For this [the first] casting call, there are only eight roles out of the total nineteen left. The open roles are:

    - Indigo: Arista's late biological mother. Mainly appears in dreams and - somewhat spoiler - a flashback episode that will come later on. She's very supportive and loving, willing guide Arista to M'Jaal in any way she can. Very important that she gets casted ASAP. She's very important to the plot. The only warning I can give with his character is that more than likely I will have to send her script for the entire series due to file issues and space restraints. Hoepfullly I'll get it resolved, I'm learning to use Audicity to make sound editing easier.

    - Lachlan: The emperor of the country, the biological father of Arista, having her with Indigo during his affair with her, but also has two other daughters, Qi and Raziel, with empress Ute. Also a very important character, he's Arista's main driving force to get to M'Jaal, and he spends a large amount of time trying to rule Mirus while fighting his own demons and putting up with current family issues. Ever since he was informed of Indigo's death and the disappearance of his illegitimate firstborn, he's always had that hope that the child he bore with Indigo was still alive. Also needs to be casted ASAP.

    - Ute: The empress of the country, the wife of Lachlan and the mother of Qi and Raziel. Hoooo, boy; even as her creator I hate this bitch. She's not exactly a villian, but she's way far from a saint. She plays favorites with her children, adoring and loving Qi while she's abusive and aloof towards Raziel. While her role has empress is pretty much her whole life, she's very clingy to Lachlan [not very surprising because of his affair with Indigo, she she really overdoes it] and "vanity" is her middle name behind closed doors. She likes to take charge of everything, and to be honest, she's pretty emotionally unstable, and that trait progesses. Let's just say she'll be very fun to play as and cast! xD

    - Kit: One of the M'Jaal guard trainees of Sector 7 and Griffith's twin sister. Very sweet and friendly, and Raziel's love interest to whom she returns feelings. She becomes fast friends with Arista and Ephraim as they associate themselves in the training program, helping them adjust to life in the empire. Her backstory is that she and her brother enrolled to be trained at a rather young age [15, to be exact; she's 17 when she makes her debut] and one day there was an invasion on royal grounds that called for everyone in the fighting forces to take part in. Kit fought fiercely for someone her age, but ended up with a terrible wound to her arm that eventually became afflicted with gangrene, leading to the the arm's amputation in order to save her life. Despite missing a limb, Kit is determined to be the best soldier she can be and live her life to the fullest! :D

    - Griffith: Kit's twin brother and a Sector 7 trainee. A huge goofball and quite the lovable lug, Griffith is always cracking jokes about something or someone, and many argue that he'd make a better jester than he ever would a guard or a soldier. Don't take Griff's silly antics as him being incapable or immature, though; he's determined to be as good as a soldier as his father is. Like Kit, he's got his heart in the right place and makes friends easily thanks to his perky attitude and sense of humor.

    - Jubilee: The oldest of the Sector 7 trainees and the closest to reciving her soldier status. Poor Jubilee has lived a hard life: she spent her childhood with an abusive father and had to go without her mother [who ran off when Jubi was a toddler to escape her abusive husband; I'd like to think she left for another man and was too afraid of her ex-husband to go back for her daughter], and she lost her romantic partner in the same battle that took Kit's arm. Jubilee is very stressed out and rather agressive, but deep inside, she's very damaged and sad. She is admired for her skills in battle and her ability to think through techniques quickly, but is often feared for her temper. She'll be a very interesting character to play. ;)

    - Oracle: The quiet one of Sector 7. They are soft spoken yet kind and considerate. Not really much is known about them aside that they decided to join the training program after the death of their mother. Despite coming across as shy and rather peaceful, they become better at fighting as days go by. Agender, can be voiced by either a male or female.

    - Ignacia: The main mentor of Sector 7. She acts as both a teacher and a mother to her apprentices, as her ability to be stern and kind at the same time go hand in hand. As a younger soldier, she was often mocked for her weight, but she proved her harassers wrong after she stood up for a pedestrian in a bar brawl, earning their respect.

Please send in auditions whenever you can! :D Remember, there's also another casting call for HE for supporting characters seen in eisodes 1-4, so also check there! Also, I will double cast as well! Thanks guys! <3

A trainee in M'Jaal's guard training system. She tends to be the voice of reason in Sector 7, despite being the younest member. She needs a nice, yet poised voice.

  • [amused, but trying to be stern] Come on, Griff. Leave Jubilee alone.

  • Hi! You must be the new recruits. Welcome to the team! I'm Kit, and this is my brother Griffith. It's so nice to have a couple of new additions around here!

  • [puzzled] But...it is possible, right? I-I mean, not that it really matters, because it probably won't matter in the long run, but...it can really happen, right?

Cowardly, submissive, obviously a weak link with a heart. Robin needs a soft, timid male voice.

  • Hello, Arista. Did your hunt go well?

  • S-Shove off, Falcon!

  • Seriously, man! Lay off, leave her alone!

The aging leader of the Avaquiks, and Arista's adoptive mother. She needs to sound dignified, yet motherly and wise.

  • [annoyed] Honestly, son. Act like an adult for once.

  • [remorseful] I guess she had to know sooner or later, that her parents weren't just common folk from the Furless cities? I...I kept it from her for too long. She's fully grown now, I shouldn't have hidden it from her.

  • Arista! Wait...!

The sort of omega in Sector 7, Oracle never has much to say and tends to stick to themselves. A bit shy, but will step up to the plate to preform their duties. Needs a soft voice.

  • Gee, I dunno. I guess anyone could've done it, beats me.

  • I-I'll take up the front if you want me to, Jubilee. I can deal.

  • Uh, y-yeah! Sure, it'll be a sinch.

Poor Jubilee never seems to get  break. After the death of her romantic partner in battle combined with a less than decent childhood, she's stressed, irritable, and restless most of the time. She needs a harsh, cynical voice.

  • [angry] Fuck off, Griffith. I'm not in the mood for you and your nonsense.

  • [protesting, still angry] No! I lead the last patrol down the outer walls and it went horrifically! There is no way I'm going to be held responisble for the shame shit two times in a row!

  • [annoyed] Oh, don't look at me like that. I wasn't going to really hit her. But come on: she's snoring and Oracle's talking in their sleep, how are you handling it?

Our main antagonist. No one is really sure what he looks like, but he is cunning and dangerous. He needs an intimidating, scary voice.

  • Subine! Come here, leave them. You and I have more important things to discuss.

  • The Lamias are all dead. They were either hunted down by commoners for their unnatrualness,  or turned against each other like the paranoid morons they were. Yet...Indigo bore Arista with Lachlan. Indigo may be gone, but Arista still has Lamia blood in her veins...and she posesses their powers.

  • Come back when you recieve word of their whereabouts, No earlier.

Arista's biological mother who died protecting her from guards. She appears mainly in spirit form in Arista's visions, and she gets her own flashback episode. Very important character and another driving force. She needs a clear, strong voice.

  • [frantic and hostile] Please, just stay away!

  • No, I...[sighs, sadly] I had to leave my village. My parents passed away recently and my people are in a time of turmoil amongst themselves. P-Please forgive me for being so foolish, drinking unsafe water. I know that Lamias aren't welcome in the empire, so once I'm able, I'll be on my way.

  • [uneasy] I don't understand, Oydis. Why have we waited? Arista has been nothing but adaptable to the conditions she has been under, and now we send the signs? She's my daughter, I know that, the best of anyone, but that makes her part Lamia. The risks are abundant, what shall happen if word gets out?

The empress of Mirus, the haughty wife of Lachlan and mother of Qi and Raziel. She takes her role as her country's leader very seriously, and is all no-nonsense. Favor Qi and coddles her all the while treating Raziel like garbage. She needs a firm, snotty, and proper voice.

  • [in a teacher-like manner] Straighten your posture, Qi. Pianists don't slouch, and proper ladies don't slouch.

  • [very sternly] Just where have you been, Raziel? Away causing trouble for the staff and locals, I presume?

  • Raziel, for once in your life, stop acting like a child. If you were more like your sister, maybe I wouldn't get these horrific headaches. At least Qi acts like a sensible young lady, not an imbecile that doesn't know how to behave.

The group mentor of Sector 7. She's the team mom pretty much, a caring woman with an edge. She needs a moderately stern voice, but one that can show heart.

  • Alright, guys, keep it to a dull roar! I want to intoduce you to your new fellow trainees.

  • Okay, okay, okay! It'll all be fine, we won't be late like last time.

  • Not much to report, sir. The vineyards were clear aside from the workers there, and the guards by the entry didn't see anything.

  • [teasing] Hey, Jubi! Perk up some, why don't ya? You've been more pissed off than a rearer being shot in the ass! Ha ha ha!

  • Heh, well, I'll have you guys know that I'M the one whose responsiblitity is to keep morale up around here. But don't take me lightly, I'm going to be one of the best soldiers on the field, just like my dad was, just you wait!
