HIJACK: Episode 1 Access Granted

***VOICE ACTOR CASTING CALL***

Hello! A group of 3rd year Sheridan Film and Television students are doing a short, 8-minute Web-Series SCI-FI DRAMA film, titled ‘HIJACK CHAPTER ONE: ACCESS GRANTED’. Looking for ONE principal role. 

Non-union, unpaid. 

Your own copy of the completed film, as well as food and transportation will be provided. 

SYNOPSIS:

The year is 2102. HANNAH and H4NK (a sentient AI robot) are in the midst of an Earth ruled by Cynder: a sole company that holds a grip over North America, from its economy to its community. They start searching in an abandoned robotics facility for a crucial chip that would allow H4nk to manipulate all of Cynder’s technology. When they run into an ill citizen that asks for their help, they’re torn between their mission or helping a stranger. The two find their way to maneuver the world filled with lies and deceit, deciding how far they’ll go to complete their mission… and who they should trust. 

ROLE:

H4NK (Male, 20-30s): Is naive, gentle and powerful. He's Cynder's most advanced 7-foot tall AI robot that's repurposed to fight against Cynder. H4nk's biggest conflict is between helping people or using his power to take down Cynder. His voice has a lack of inflection and a structure to the way he speaks. (examples: K2SO from Rogue One, BAYMAX from Big Hero 6)

LOCATION:

**If possible according to your geographic location, recording will take place at Sheridan College 1430 Trafalgar Rd. Oakville ON. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

**If you cannot attend the recording at Sheridan due to your geographic location and you have your own recording equipment, we are willing/ able to designate a time to have a recording session with you over the phone and have you send in your recordings.
