WHO AM I?

Hey there! I’m Nova — a Minecraft Roleplay Content Creator and Director behind the YouTube channel NovaDoesGaming https://www.youtube.com/@NovaDoesGaming (That is 4.6k+ subscribers going strong)!

For over six years, I’ve specialized in crafting immersive, story-driven Minecraft animations and cinematic roleplays that blend fantasy, emotion, and adventure. I’m also the proud founder of NovaStudios, a collaborative storytelling studio built to bring imaginative stories to life — not only my own, but also those of other passionate creators within our team!

Our mission as NovaStudios? To transform simple blocks into cinematic storytelling worlds that inspire, characters that resonate, and stories that stay with you long after the credits roll.

Hidden Angels is a Minecraft Fantasy Roleplay animation series featured on my channel that is explained as the following:

In the land of Vael, where shadows wage war against the light, Nova Blake is nothing more than a humble village girl that is until destiny tears her world apart. When the Shadow Lord attacks and takes her brother captive, wings of unknown origin erupt from Nova’s back, marking her as something far greater than human. Hunted, haunted, and forced to flee, Nova must navigate a realm of ancient magic, fractured loyalties, and buried truths that could decide the fate of all kingdoms—and uncover the terrifying secret of who and what Nova truly is.

This series has been a passion project of mine for years. After a brief hiatus to write the remainder of Season 1, I’m thrilled to announce Hidden Angels is officially returning with new episodes (7–10 currently in production)!

PROJECT EXPECTATIONS

This is a long-term YouTube series that will be fully produced and released on the NovaDoesGaming channel. If the series continues beyond Season 1, you may be re-invited to reprise your role or take on new ones as the world expands. As part of NovaStudios, expect a warm, professional, and creative environment where collaboration and storytelling passion shine.

Please note that this project is mainly volunteer but payment can be discussed in dms!!

🎙️ REQUIREMENTS

To audition you need the following:

✔️ Good Microphone: Clear audio, minimal background noise. (I’m flexible about brand but quality matters more than brand and price.)
✔️ Discord Account: All communication and line submissions happen through our studio Discord.
✔️ Commitment: This is a long-term series; please only audition if you can stay consistent.
✔️ Meet Deadlines: Typically you will have only one week to submit lines. Extensions are granted for illness or emergencies, as long as you just communicate!

💫 AUDITION GUIDELINES

  • You may include a short intro about yourself (optional, but encouraged!).

  • Submit your best take per line with different emotional interpretations.

  • Feel free to ad-lib or improvise at the end of your takes if it fits the character.

  • Keep auditions clean, high-quality, and easy to listen to.

  • EXTENDING A DEADLINE FOR DIANNA!

    Hey all! Just a heads up the VAs for Imogen and Thora have been selected. Big congrats to @nzee6 (Zee) and @RiverVOs (River) for getting the roles!

    I am currently having trouble with picking someone for Dianna's voice. Due to this I am extending the deadline for Dianna! I need a voice actor who can pull off a deep woman's voice in her mid thirties. Tone is serious and cunning. If you didn't get selected for that role its most likely just because the tone of voice isn't want I'm looking for in the auditions!

    Deadline for Dianna voice lines extended to Nov 7th!

Imogen is a personal knight of a character named Thalia (that has yet to be introduced in the series) and second in command. She's the brain of the group in most ways when Thalia can't think of a strategy or a way out of or a solution to problems. Imogen is more reserved and the "mind" of the trio. Imogen has a bit of difficulty comprehending emotions because she trained herself to shut them out but now that she has Thalia to watch over, she oftens questions her reasons behind that.


Tone of voice is usually cold and stoic. Somewhat emotionless but she is learning emotions as she goes on in the series.

Thora is one of Thalia's personal knights in command. She is the "fist" of the trio. She acts first and thinks later. Thora swears herself to the blade and she's loyal and protective of Thalia the one she watches over and fights beside. She is hot-headed but also loveable. the "warrior" big sister type of energy. 

Some inspiration characters to look into is Mira Sorrengail (From Fourth Wing) and Katelyn (from MCD) if you want more on her personality!

Dianna Everguard is the Queen of Thieves in Hidden Angels, she acts as broker for the Borum Thieves Guild! She is known for being ruthless, blunt and cunning! Her voice is usually calm and regal. She addresses others with the poise of a queen addressing subjects!

  • (Skeptical) "Ah, ah, ah. I don’t think so. You keep saying you're not a demon but I beg a differ. Let me guess. You’re afraid of yourself. Aren't you?"

  • "Leon, you're going. That’s not a request. Do not disobey me. I want you to make sure they keep their word… and because I told you so."

  • "Trust is such a brittle thing, isn’t it? Fortunately, I never needed it. I don’t believe in justice. I believe in balance. And right now, yours is overdue."
