Hello there! And welcome to my casting call for my 'Here Comes Team Charm' Fandub! Before we get started just what is this project about?
We will be fandubbing Special Episode 4, Here Comes Team Charm, from the Nintendo DS game, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky. Which came out all the way back in 2009, little 8 year old me still remembers the ad's for it on TV!
PMD is a tactical RPG dungeon crawler game with a VERY good story, AMAZING music and LOVEABLE characters! All of which are Pokémon that live as if they were humans!
This project will mostly likely be split into 3 episodes, lasting 10 - 15 minutes each.
Recording will hopefully be all wrapped up by the end of April at the vey latest, and the project hopefully complete by May!
Now let’s get the rules ironed out! (Well I say rules, more like guidelines!)
Rule Number 1 – Mic Quality! A super expensive mic is not required! Any mic can be used so long as the recording set up is good! Please have as little background noise as possible in your recordings! Also, try not to pop or peak if you can help it! To avoid popping, be sure to use a pop filter, or pillow case works too! Or stand a little distance back from the mic! To avoid peaking, again stay a little bit back from the mic and avoid recording in an echo-y space!
Rule Number 2 – Remember your acting! I have made sure to put little inflections in brackets before each line so you have a little clue behind the emotion I am looking for!
Rule Number 3 – Contacts. Please have both Discord and an email address! My preferred method is through email, but we can have a Discord group too!
Rule Number 4 – No limits! No limits on how many characters you can be cast as, and no limits to how many characters you can audition for! Audition for everyone and anyone! Oh and anyone is allowed to audition for anyone! Even if you don’t think you might fit the character, you never now! Your audition might be the one I select!
Rule Number 5 – Have fun! Now with all the boring rules out the way, do your best and have fun! Lots of energy is needed for these characters, so be sure to have fun and enjoy yourself!

If you are cast, I will comment on your audition with further instructions.
Roles will be cast the day after auditions close, if the roles are not cast on the day of casting, the deadline will be extended.
If you would like some feedback, please send me a direct message and I will give some feedback, I can’t show favourites before I cast!
Gardevior is the only role that will not be appearing in this casting call as I will be voicing her myself.
The initial deadline will be 2 weeks to get lines to me once they are sent out. I’m happy to give out any extensions needed, but within reason! (there won’t be any 10 week extensions or anything!)
Characters listed as 'Lead' roles will have 3 scripts. 'Supporting' roles will have 2. And 'Minor' and 'Extra' roles will have 1. 'Minor' roles will have longer scripts than the 'Extra' roles.

Voice Type - High pitched, very feminine, playful, seductive, ditzy, energetic
Lopunny is the leader of Team Charm. She is obsessed with beauty and vain about her appearance. She often tends to be light-hearted and make jokes while in the face of danger. She acts very much like a stereotypical 'girly girl' and I would like her to sound extremely girly.

Awww, thank you darling! But don't worry about us! We're famous treasure hunters who have dealt with foes far stronger than yourself~
[enraged/ready to fight]
Nobody should be made afraid to explore! We can't stand by and let you bullies act as you please! You're tormenting ends NOW!
Voice Type - High or Medium Pitch, strong willed, energetic, girly, tough, optional rasp, open with her emotions
Medicham is a member of Team Charm and known as the 'strength' of the team. She can quite scatter-brained and often jumps to conclusions, as well as speaking her mind. However, put her in a fight and takes the composure of a warrior.
I would like her to have a more tomboyish feel to her voice, but still maintaining a feminine edge to her.
[cheerful/excited]
Ooooh! I can't wait to find the treasure of the ruins! I wonder what it will be!
[annoyed/angry]
HEY! We were here first! Stand in our way, buddy, and we'll remove you by force!
[speechless/flustered]
Eeeek! This guy...he's...PASSED OUT!? D-Do you think he's...d-d-d-DEAD!?
Voice Type - Medium to deep pitch, cold and harsh, strong and noble
Weavile, or Lady Weavile, as she is known, is the leader of Team AWD. Weavile is portrayed as a cold and ruthless leader, intimidating her foes as she please. She is also very calculating, and knows when to avoid picking fights.
[cold/sinister]
So...you've decided to make an enemy of us, have you? You will live to regret that.
[call out in frustration]
All right boys, come on! We're pulling out! There's nothing else for us here, so let's count our losses and go!
[evil smile]
Heh, you're not exactly the brightest, are you? There some treasures in this world you just can't have. We don't waste our time on them.
Voice Type - Medium to deep pitch, snakey (hold those 's'), cold and sinister
Arbok is a member of Team AWD. As a snake, he elongates his 's' sounds.
[sinister]
Well, well, well, look at what we have here. Ssssssssssome pretty ladiessssss ssssssstanding in our way.
[angry]
You foolssssssss better not try that again! We'll be ready for you next time!
[annoyed]
What did they call ussssssssss!? Argh, forget it, we'll ssssssssssettle thissssssss what a fight!
Voice Type - Deep pitch, gruff, tough sounding, gravely voice, not very intelligent, more comical
Drapion is a member of Team AWD. He is shown to be a little slow on the uptake and prefers to use intimidation tactics.

HEY! My good Lady told you guys to move! I'd recommend you do as she says!
[cheerful/happy]
Yeah, that must be it! These ladies want to be our friends!
[sinister]
My claws have been wanting to chomp you up into little tiny pieces ever since we first met.
With Ditto, I would like Ditto to have 3 different voices.
Voice 1 is a woman's voice, a cheerful, fun and pleasant sounding voice.
Voice 2 is a little kid's voice, shy and weak, more youthful.
Voice 3 is a male voice, either a little boy's voice but older sounding, or a softly spoken young man's voice.
Anyone can audition for this role, whether you are a guy doing a funny female sounding voice, or a girl doing little boy voices.
It doesn't matter who voices Ditto, so long as you can do 3 different voices!

Excuse me, you aren't planning to venture into the jungle, are you? It's very dangerous in there, i strongly advise against it!
[Voice 2, upset]
Those bullies have scared all my friends away! None of them want to exploring with me anymore! So please, teach them a lesson!
[Voice 3, sad]
I was unable to protect this place on my own. And so I had to use you in order to help with my plan. Sorry I didn't tell you.
Voice Type - High pitched, cheerful, funny, full of energy, sing song voice when he's happy
In the anime, Wigglytuff was voiced by Sarah Natochenny using a voice similar to her early Ash Ketchum. And so, I am happy for Wigglytuff to be voiced by anyone! Just as long as you as you give him lots of energy!

I don't think he meant it. The boss probably used that trick as some kind of coping mechanism...or something!
Voice Type - Deep, booming, loud and aggressive
Aggron is a boss that Team Charm must defeat in order to pass.
He acts tough until he is defeated, when he becomes a blubbering mess!
[angry]
AH! What do you think you are doing, trespassing on my land!
[sinsiter]
You ladies might think you're hot stuff, but that composure...can you maintain it?
[scared/panicking]
Ah! RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY! Aaaaaaaaaaaah!
Voice Type - Deep or medium pitch, same as Aggron but younger sounding
Lairon are Aggron's henchmen and attempt to stop Team Charm from moving forward. They are however defeated.
Before the battle, they act tough, but after the battle, they run away in fear.
They shout quite a bit!
[excited]
Yeah! It's time to fight! Let's do this!
[lets out a battle cry]
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
[runs away in fear]
Aaaaaaaaaah! Run away, run way!
Voice Type - Medium to deep pitch, gravely, evil sounding
Graveler finds the treasure of the ruins first...or so he believes. He is ambushed by Team Charm.
I would like him to have a common thugs' voice, though with a deeper tone since he's effectively a boulder.

Ahahaha! FINALLY! I've found the treasure of the ruins!
[angry]
ARGH! Those trolls! How dare they escape me! They'll pay for this!
[panicking]
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! NOOOOOOOOOOOO the ruins are coming down!
Voice Type - Medium pitch, friendly
Cacturne is one of the explorers that meets Team Charm at the Quarry. He, like the rest of the explorers, attempts to flirt with Team Charm. However, he runs away in fear when Team AWD appear.
[cheerful]
Hey, are you girls explorers too?
[worried]
Those guys are explores too, but they are so strong that they usually knock out any explores they see!
[panicking]
I...I can't do it! I gotta go!
Voice Type - high to medium pitch, a more sleazy feel
Dunsparce is one of the explorers that meet Team Charm outside of the Quarry. He, like others, attempts to flirt with Team Charm. However, he eventually runs away after Team AWD show up.

You girls look really strong! I bet you'll be first class explorers one day!

Voice Type - medium to deep pitch, burly, tough, gruff
Magmortar is one of the explorers that meet Team Charm outside of the Quarry. He, like others, attempts to flirt with Team Charm. However, he eventually runs away after Team AWD show up.

Houndoom is one of the explorers that meet Team Charm outside of the Quarry. He, like others, attempts to flirt with Team Charm. However, he eventually runs away after Team AWD show up.
