Alice is one of the twins and was the youngest, at 12, before Icy's arrival, which fuels her jealousy. Her envy intensifies due to Icy's closeness with Alice's love interest, Auggie. Although Alice plays the role of an antagonist, Icy continues to treat her with kindness.
Alice and her twin sister, Annie, were cast out at a young age by their parents because they have red hair, and the superstitions of their time led people to believe that they had no soul.
