INTRO
Hello there, everyone! This casting call is for the entirety of Hex Code Heroes (which Includes the Mini Movie called Hex Code Heroes: 12)
We're casting for a slew of voices to be used throughout the series and short film. All roles are in the English language, but some characters may speak in another language or have an accent from their native language. Voice actors must be comfortable being able to speak in another language at times if needed for their role.
When it comes to the audition lines, anything in ( ) or [ ] is a descriptor for the voice or action that has to do with the voice.
WHO ARE WE?
TOOMII is a small group of friends who strive to create new and unique stories that push and make people think, hopefully helping people think about and reflect on themself as a person.
OVERVIEW
When savage behemoths cause chaos on Earth in an attempt to bring what's commonly referred to as "The New Genesis", a reluctant boy named Hex Agachi joins a small team of pilots under the command of a distant and stone cold AI duplicate of his own mother in an attempt to drive back the forces of evil using "Spectra's" which are mechanical beasts that seem to have a mind of their own as time goes on.
DEADLINES AND WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU
The deadline for auditions is August 7th, 2020. There isn't any plans to extend this deadline unless absolutely necessary. The scripts for the first 6 of 18 episodes are ready to be sent out to voice actors. As for when the lines will be needed in that will be discussed once we have picked out the voices we need.
- We as a group communicate through Discord, where you'll get to interact with the rest of the voice actors and the rest of the production crew behind the series.
- We strongly recommend you collaborate with your fellow voice actors, get to know them, have small talk, have fun and take pride in being apart of this project in order to help it be something phenomenal.
- Please try to remove all background noise as much as you can when it comes to auditioning and with recording your lines in order for the recordings to be as clean as possible.
- We will possibly occasionally ask for line re-dos, but we will do it as sparingly as possible just out of consideration.
- Lastly, since this project is 12 episodes plus a short film we'd like to cast people who will stick around for a while until the series is over. We're proud of the series we have planned after this one, so when we start a new one we may return to a voice actor we've worked with in the past.
