Project Overview
This is a test project, the actual casting call will not come out for another year or so. we're trying to see what kind of talent we can find and which voices fit which characters.
This will be important to our elevator pitch as well, we might be casting a few of you to dub over the first chapter of the manga. which will appear in our "Show Bible" to show executives what we're looking for.
this project has been in the works for 4 years - we've refined and re done it multiple times. at the moment we have a team of around 12 but we're looking to expand that as well, if you're interested in joining our creative team feel free to either DM me, @Ch3rryb0mb or @IMP_c0rp - or reach out to us through email (mikumikuohweoh @gmail.com). Hikari Chan And The Wolf is a comedy/action/gore anime. The initial plot is that Hikari shows up one day on a young man's doorstep, collapsing instantly. His mother agrees to shelter the girl and he continues on with his week. After an uneventful school day ends, Yuuto (the boy) realizes he fell asleep in class and it’s already late. He begrudgingly makes his way home, before leaving the campus he hears a grizzly scream and recognizes it as one of his classmates. Masuyo Osaki. He rushes towards the sound to find Hikari devouring her mangled corpse. They end up in a chase, Yuuto eventually being cornered. When out of nowhere his classmate/friend Yui mei comes to his rescue, knocking Hikari unconscious. Together they apprehend and question her, coming to the conclusion that the serial killer on the loose is in fact her. She reveals she’s a hellspawn and has plans to destroy the human race. Yui, Ichika, and Yuuto together decide to watch over her and attempt to halt her plans. She begins to grow attached to them, and by the end of season one has switched to their side. Working against Lucifer and his assistants.

Hikari is 5’5, 115 lbs, she has long cherry dark red hair that's semi waved. She has eyes that morph depending on her current state. S1 Hikari's personality is; lighthearted, mischievous, cruel, psychotic, apathetic, giggly, ditzy, confident, loud, carefree, and flirty.
She avidly preys upon humans, even stating that human flesh is her favorite food. She is technically deceased. She is an advisor of Lucifer, working closely with him to ensure chaos and bloodshed around the world. As the story moves on she realizes that not all humans are evil and that she’s been/being used. Her “sister” is Yonaka. They have the same general appearance with a mismatched color palette, but are not blood related and never were. They do not get along well.

She has a high-medium pitched voice. must be capable of screaming, crying, yelling and massive vocal change. Hikari has a lot of complexities about her and flips on a dime.

Yuuto is a relatively average high-school student. He’s 145 lbs and 5 '10. He has scruffy black hair and heterochromia. One brown eye, one blue. He wishes he had a more interesting life, and he wishes he was more interesting himself, he hates himself and is cripplingly insecure about his personality and appearance. He has an anxiety disorder and is prone to random panic attacks. He’s confused about everything and has trouble turning in his work. He has an understanding mother but comes from a broken home. His mother is a recovering alcoholic and his father passed away when he was young, leaving him to take care of her on his own. He tries his best to make ends meet, working multiple jobs on top of school. He helps Hikari sort out her whole mental crisis and ends up sort of falling for her in a weird twisted way. They both have their hidden struggles and their kind of sun and moon opposites.
S1 Yuuto's personality is Insecure, shy, quiet, anxious, rule following, distant, morally correct, antisocial, and a social follower. He has a medium pitched soft male voice, Must be able to cry. he get's more confident as the series progresses, getting louder and more confident.

Yui Mei is a Transfemale. Meaning she was born a male and transitioned to female in the 7th grade, she’s actively on female hormones. Yui is canonically trans and lesbian. She uses she/her pronouns
Yui is 5’8 and 130 pounds. She’s lanky, tall and plays soccer. She gets bullied by groups of her peers at school but is primarily well liked, i mean; who couldn’t like her?! She’s funny, smart, talkative, considerate, nice, and loyal. She’s best friends with Ichika Rio and has had a long standing crush on her. Yui’s parents are very supportive, but she’d been bullied her entire life for being too “girly” causing her to become suicidal. She still has lasting self harm scars on her arm. This is a large part of her character. Must be able to cry and scream. Medium pitched loud and friendly Female/Androg. voice.

Ichika is 5’8, 143 lbs. She has a bubbled hairstyle, two poof like things in the front with an extra low ponytail in the back. Her hair is dark purple and she has dark brown/black eyes. She is blaisen (african american + japanese) , and has dark skin. Ichika is a comphet-bisexual, using she/her pronouns. Ichika is calm and well spoken, and is focused on her studies. She comes from a rich background and her parents are almost never around. She was raised by housekeepers. Before meeting Yui she had no sense of individuality, she was just a drone of what society expected her to be. Yui helped her discover who she was, and live a normal fun highschool life. Ichika has a bad habit of being brutally honest, in a way she’s designed to be a parallel to Yui. She’s extremely repressed because she’s been raised to believe being attracted to the same sex is wrong. she has a medium/low soft feminine voice

Akane Makino // Makino Akane // 牧野あかね // あかね牧野

Akane Makino is 5’5 and is 143 lbs. She’s latina and American, moving here at the age of 4. She has medium dark skin tone, and light brown hair, fading into a sea green. She follows the gyaru style, always being seen with her hair styled and up in a high ponytail with various clips. She wears light makeup, and dresses relatively casual. Makino comes from an average household, she doesn’t have any sort of severe trauma like the rest of our goobers out here. For the most part she’s a happy girl.
Makino is very kind and accepting of other people. But too shy and anxious to stand up for others or herself for that matter. She’s had a crush on Osaki (the first victim pictured in the series) since the 7th grade, but tries not to acknowledge it. When Osaki dies she’s torn to pieces and can’t help but blame herself. When Kaede shows up at her doorstep asking for her help in solving the murder of her dear friend, she feels inclined to accept. her voice is medium pitched and sounds like your average highschool girl.
(scared) Wait!! Namba-san! should we really be here at night it, feels dangerous! besides you still havent told me where we're going?
(confused, skeptical) You're telling me... that the serial killer on the loose.. is actually some kind of, demon....? Ugh! this was such a waste of time! you're insane!
(sincere, gentle) Y'know.. you don't have to prove anything to anyone. I think you're a great detective! you're way smarter than me.. your brother just sounds like an ass.
Kaede Namba // Namba Kaede // 楓難波 // 難波楓

Kaede is 5’ 2 and 112 lbs. She has ghostly pale skin and pure white hair. Her hair is styled in two buns, with the rest of it hanging loose. It is curled. She has gray/black eyes and dresses in a gothic lolita fashion. Kaede is the daughter of a now deceased detective, famous for solving one of Japan's most notorious serial killer cases. She wants to follow in his footsteps, despite knowing the company is being passed onto her older brother. She feels like she lives in her brother's shadow, so she takes the Hikari case into her own hands in order to prove herself worthy. She takes on Makino Akane as her “assistant detective” in the case, as she was friends with the victim Osaki who is pictured in the first episode. Kaede is seemingly emotionless, never having reactions to anything. She’s not bothered by blood or gore and in fact she says herself that she doesn’t care about the victims at all, she’s just interested in the cases. She’s extremely logical and cunning, she can get whatever she wants whenever she wants. her voice is high pitched, soft, neutral toned and feminine.
(interrogative, quick paced) Oh but I know who you are. Makino Akane, second year at Jinto academy. relatively popular and well liked by her peers, supposed lover of all things cute. which includes her classmate Mayuko Osaki. but she'd never tell a soul in fear of being ostracized. your mother and father are divorced, your mother remarried 4 years ago to the head of Saiki corp. does that sound correct?
(flat) You're a fool, Miss Makino Akane.
(Vengeful) I must be better than him, that is my sole motive and purpose. I don't care who gets hurt in the process.
