Harmonic Discord || GACHA ANIMATED SERIES
Project Overview
"Harmonic Discord" is an animated gacha life 2 series in the making!!! The script is complete, we just have the animation side of things to finish, so I thought why not include voice acting?
All of this will be going on my youtube channel, and everyone who participates will be credited! If you don't get a main role, we have a few side roles you may get. This is NOT my first time creating a voice acted series, I have little experience with a project from a few years back.
EXTRA
As a voice actor you MAY be asked to do extra lines that aren't in the official script, these may be for short clips, trailers, ect. to help promote this project.
Once we have the full cast done, we will be doing a sort of "meet the cast". This WILL be scripted, however instead of me creating the script, each cast member will have 30-60 seconds to speak about themselves. You will then add these lines to the script, and I will approve it. This is just a safe way to introduce everyone working with us and give them credits for their hard work. If you're not comfortable with doing this, please don't audition.
This isn't a paid project, HOWEVER, for your work you will be given credits for your work, in both the video description, and credits at the end of each episode you're apart of.
WE MAY be doing callbacks, this is our way of expressing we like your talent, however we may ask to tweak something such as the pitch, or maybe you're better suited for a different character. Since there are MANY background characters we don't have listed here.

All of the OCs shown here were created by them, listed as free to use. The designs will be heavily tweaked in the final version, though if they seem familiar to you, that is why.
STORY
7 band members all enter a competition that their university is hosting! Their university is known for it's music program, and many top musicians from around the world went there. Every year, the school hosts a battle of the bands. A competition, and the prize? Is a small fortune for each band member and of course, fame. With the stakes so high however, some contestants will do anything to win. Many people get desperate. But the question is, who will come out on top?

Audition for multiple roles! You'll have a higher chance of getting in
have little to no background noise in your audition, we do care about mic quality

Lacette or Lottie is the main character and protagonist of this story, she's a keyboardist, as well as a music therapy major. She only joined this competition for the money so once she graduates she can open her own clinic to help others. She's a sort of timid yet kindhearted person, who goes through major character development and at the end becomes a very confident and assertive person.

"I—I don’t really care about winning, not like the others." [timid, uncertain]
"if you’ve got a problem with that, then maybe it’s time to step aside. [assertive, confident]]"
Malcom is the main antagonist of this story, he's also the drummer in the band! Ironic isn't it? He's been absorbed by the need and want for fame, loosing track of the whole reason he was doing this in the first place in a fit of desperation. How dramatic. Anyways!!! He's British, and acts more like the father figure of the group, reassuring everyone and taking care of them as the only senior in the band.

"We’re so close to everything we’ve ever wanted, and you’re holding back?" [getting frustrated, trying to maintain composure]]
"I’ve been in this game longer than any of you. I know what it takes. You think I don’t understand?" [desperate, intense]]
Blair is a very egotistical person, he's also the vocalist of the band. He has a lot of self confidence, and believes he's one of the greatest people to walk this Earth. He's not in it because he wants to be famous or because he wants the money, he's just here because he can be and he wants to show off. He does get somewhat flirty with others a lot, and he can come off as passive aggressive sometimes.

"I don’t need to try hard. It’s just effortless when you’re as talented as I am." [passive-aggressive, boasting]]
He's really playful, and of course meant to be the jokester of the group. He's the bass player, and really just enjoys a good laugh. Always playing really bad mediocre pranks on everyone, but he still enjoys it. He's friends with Blair and Malcom, and he really just wants to have fun with his friends. He doesn't want to be famous.

"I swear, it’s all in good fun. No harm, no foul... unless you're, uh, allergic to whipped cream." [cheerful, joking]
Cordelia is very snobby, she only REALLY talks to people who she believes is on her level of talent. She's the guitarist, and doesn't truly respect anyone in the band apart from Blare. She's really sarcastic, and enjoys living in the moment. She doesn't have a canon accent, though if you'd like to you can give her one!!!

"Well, at least someone around here has half a clue. You're the only one who doesn’t make me want to gouge my eyes out." [a hint of admiration, still condescending]
Gin is the sound effects technician of the group! She handles all of the technical side of things and remains off stage, she doesn't want to be famous. She very similarly to Lottie, just wants the money so she can not have to rely on her parents any longer. She's seen as a really weird and unsettling individual. Popping up everywhere when you least expect it.

Juno is a very quiet person, she doesn't speak very much, and she's the song writer of the group. She doesn't REALLY want to be here, she's only here because she got blackmailed. She used to be apart of the winning band last year, before all the other members mysteriously went missing... she has a lot of trauma, and doesn't really trust anyone in the group. Keeping to herself most of the time.
