Guardians of Arceus: Heir is an unofficial Pokémon fan-made animated series based on an original WEBTOON story.
The series follows Ace, a young boy whose life changes after he is taken in by Aurelia, the Queen of Guardians. Ace soon learns that certain individuals are chosen to form powerful bonds with legendary and mythical Pokémon, becoming Guardians responsible for protecting the balance of the world.
As Ace grows, he becomes caught between the traditions of the Guardian Order and the growing threat of Nysera, a former Guardian who believes the Order protects a false balance. Alongside his partner Pokémon, rivals, mentors, and future allies, Ace must learn what it truly means to inherit the power—and responsibility—of a Guardian.
The story combines:
Fantasy and adventure
Pokémon battles
Rivalries and friendships
Emotional character development
Mystery and supernatural elements
A darker, cinematic anime-inspired tone
Original characters, regions, factions, and Guardian mythology
Current Production
The first production will include a full-color animated teaser, followed by a pilot episode adapting material from the first two WEBTOON chapters.
The opening story focuses on young Ace, his bond with Zorua, his first encounter with Aurelia, and brief glimpses of the much larger conflict waiting for him in the future.
This project is intended to feel like a genuine English-dubbed anime series rather than a simple motion comic. Performances should feel expressive and cinematic while still sounding natural.
Voice Acting Direction
We are looking for actors who can deliver grounded, emotional English anime-dub performances.
Characters may experience:
Please avoid overly exaggerated or stereotypical anime voices unless specifically requested in the individual character description.
Actors may provide up to two takes per audition line. A natural take and a more dramatic or stylized take are welcome.
Audition Requirements
Record in a quiet environment with minimal background noise.
Use a clear microphone with little to no echo.
Submit raw or lightly cleaned audio.
Do not add music, sound effects, reverb, or heavy vocal processing.
Please slate your name only if you would like to.
Do not use AI-generated voices or voice cloning.
Be willing to receive direction and record retakes when necessary.
Maintain consistent communication throughout production.
Some characters may become recurring roles in future episodes.
Actors auditioning for younger characters should focus on believable youthful performances rather than forcing an extremely high-pitched voice.
Compensation, estimated workload, deadlines, and additional expectations will be listed under each individual role.
