Love and Deepspace Genderbend Fandub (Valko)
Project Overview
This is another casting call for a genderbent Love and Deepspace fandub project that is made just for fun. Currently, this project needs editors, artists, and genderbent voices for the newly introduced love interest: Valko and a re-cast for MC. Recently, Valko has been abruptly cancelled from Love and Deepspace. To honor his memory, this project will voice some of his lines from his trailers.
The project’s main focus is recording audio clips for the “Secret Times”, “Bond” cutscenes, card/myth stories, and the cutscenes of the game’s main story. If you don’t know, in Love and Deepspace, Secret Times are ASMR-like audio stories. Bonds are story events (with cutscenes) that dive deeper into a love interest’s storyline and their relationship to the MC. Myths are storylines that dive into the past/future lives of the Love Interests.
Disclaimer:
This project currently has one director, and there is a possibility things will run slowly or have long breaks in between recordings. Being a part of this project will require a lot of patience, so it’s recommended not to audition unless you’re willing to be patient. The director is also pretty lenient when it comes to deadlines, especially since this is mostly all for fun.
MC will only be voicing in the main story and the “Bonds”.
As of this moment, Valko is permanently cancelled from Love and Deepspace, so there’s unfortunately very little to voice for him. However, if things (hopefully) change and he returns, this project will happily welcome him back as a love interest. Whether Valko returns or not, that determines how much content female Valko will voice and record. Please keep this in mind while auditioning.
Synopsis:
It is not a requirement to have previous knowledge of Love and Deepspace to audition. If you do know the game, that’s great! If you don’t know what Love and Deepspace is about, it’s a mobile otome game that takes place in a futuristic setting with sci-fi elements. It is also a gacha game that features action-RPG combat and immersive 3D visual storytelling. Originally, the main protagonist (MC) is a female Deepspace Hunter, whose job is to protect the general public by fighting alien-like monsters called Wanderers. MC and her love interests: Xavier, Zayne, Rafayel, Sylus, Caleb, and Valko all possess a special power known as Evols. MC uses her Evol to fight off the Wanderers and protect Linkon City. The game has MC build her romantic relationships between her love interests while also unraveling mysteries within the city.
For this project, it is essentially the same summary but MC is instead a male Deepspace Hunter. All of the love interests, in this project, are now female.
Rules and Guidelines:
To audition for this project, you must be 18+. There are no exceptions. Love and Deepspace is not an 18+ game, however, the game has suggestive dialogue, scenes, and themes.
Have good audio quality and little to no background noise in your recording.
Please give as much emotion and feeling into your audition as possible.
The director would like the voice actors to record each line twice in a ABCABC format, giving a different approach the second time.
Feel free to audition for as many characters as you like, but the director intends to cast one person per character.
Having previous knowledge of Love and Deepspace is not a requirement, but since these roles will be genderbent, it is recommended to look at the YouTube link references underneath the character’s role. Simply to get an idea of what the characters originally sound like.
This project requires everyone to have an active Discord account. The project server is in Discord and that’s where most communication will take place. In your audition, please include your Discord username/tag. If selected, you will be added into the project’s server.
Audio Engineer
This project currently needs audio editors/engineers that can edit re-dubbing of certain voice lines in the game. Adding some ambience and sound effects to audio clips. But most importantly, putting multiple audio recordings together. The voice actors of this project will send their recorded lines, and the audio editors will need to edit everything into one finished audio clip. This project heavily relies on audio and sound, since there won’t be as much visuals compared to the original game.

This project currently needs artists that can help with concept design sketches and drawings/illustrations. The artists will mainly help brainstorm and develop outfit ideas for the female love interests (and MC) and other concepts.

Voice Actor
MC is a determined, hardworking individual. He takes his role of a Deepspace Hunter very seriously, exhibiting a dutiful attitude. However, outside of work, MC is playful and funny. He’s also considered cute for enjoying silly leisurely activities such as winning plushies from claw machines. MC shows his strength by being loyal to his companions, always having their back. He still has a lot to learn about self-defense and combat, but he perseveres, knowing that he can become stronger everyday.
Voice Description: In the original game, MC's voice can be modified in pitch. However, male MC should have a medium vocal range.

Voice Actor
Female Valko is a fierce werewolf and the chairman of EonCore Tech. She looks intimidating, but is actually really playful, energetic, and loyal. She’s also strong, charismatic, confident, and emotionally intelligent.
Valko is currently cancelled from the Love and Deepspace game, however, this project plans to still voice his trailers for his introduction and his 5-star memories.
Voice Description: She should have a deeper voice that sounds confident with a straightforward tone. A voice that's slightly gruff could work for her, too.
