Kaito is Ace’s childhood rival: energetic, competitive, outspoken, and completely obsessed with speed. He talks like every conversation is another competition he intends to win.
He brags constantly and enjoys getting under Ace’s skin, but his rivalry is genuine friendship disguised as competition. Beneath the confidence, Kaito is terrified of being left behind or failing when someone depends on him.
Voice DescriptionFast-talking, boyish, cocky, and highly expressive. He should sound naturally energetic rather than squeaky. His words occasionally run together when he gets excited.
His emotional scenes should reveal that the confidence is partially armor.
Competitive: “You’re thinking too much again! By the time you make a decision, I’ll already be across the finish line!”
Teasing Ace: “That was your plan? Seriously? Remind me never to let you lead anything involving speed—or thinking.”
Concern breaking through: “Hey! Don’t you dare pass out before I beat you properly. Ace—look at me!”
