Project Overview
Guardian takes place in the mega city Starborn City, the world’s hotspot for superhero activity and the location of the original and most popular superhero company, The Protector’s League.
The pilot follows 16 year old Grey Anderson and his friends, Raine and Cyrus, as all three of them enter the Protector’s League, and the overall world of superhero-ing, the good, the bad and the ugly, all while Grey has to learn how to be the one and only Guardian.

Why is the world super, how is different and why should I care?
While with most superhero stories, powers come from your parents being murdered in an alley or getting bitten by radioactive spider, superpowers in Guardian are…different. In 1991, a cyclops name Pøly arrived on Earth, literally falling from the sky. A worldwide government organisation called the WPDO led by Basil Smith interrogated Pøly immediately, and after a while, Basil made Pøly a soldier dedicated to helping keep Earth safe.
After a few years, random people around the world start developing superpowers, and it’s quickly discovered that the powers come from a DNA-altering gas emitted by Pøly when he respires.
Instead of trying to contain this, the ever resourceful Basil took advantage of it and transformed the WPDO into the Protector’s League, enlisting super-abled people to help protect the world.
Why is Grey an interesting protagonist?
At the start of the pilot, Grey is 16, the prime age for developing powers, and is very optimistic about his future, dreaming of being a protector his entire life. But as he gets further and further away from that chance he’s forced to let go and come back to reality. Except, once he’s finally done this, lo and behold, he gets powers. After this he has to decide which path to follow, each one being hard and unforgiving.
Okay, but what’s different? What’s the special sauce, the secret ingredient? Why should I help out of this’ll just be another generic superhero show?
Now, obviously, I can’t make any promises. I don’t know how any of this’ll go, if it’ll happen or not, if it’ll be good or not, I’m only human, so I just don’t know.
But what i do know is that this is a story that is so close to me, I have had it with me since 2019 (that was 5 years ago?) and I’ve been refining this story, making new versions and plot lines, and this thing that is literally just in my head can become a reality without a crazy expensive company or huge actors, I can do it all on my own with the help of others willing to.
So believe me when I say that I would not be doing this if I was not fully confident in the story that I’ve made.
I know that sound kinda cocky and arrogant, but I really do believe that I can make something special and unique here. I think I’ve got a certain advantage being fairly young and not some big company wholly focused on profit (although a bit of profit would be nice, again, I’m only human), so I and other people can make the story we want.

There’s a bunch of different superheroes, villains and random background characters in Guardian, no matter your age or nationality, although the main characters are primarily America.

Most of the main superheroes and villains will have their own main themes and leitmotifs so we’ll need a lot of people for that!

Because this takes place in a similar version of our Earth and I’m afraid of copyright issues, there may need to be some made up songs for background and stuff.
