Guardian - An Entertainment game by BlackBanshee Studios
Project Overview
This project is an educational episodic game being created by BlackBanshee Studios (Payload, Don't Bleed, both on Steam).
As this is a game in production, limited details can be shared publicly. Voice Actors being cast will receive slightly more information, but will be subject to NDA. The first chapter of the game is set for release before June 2022 with additional chapters added roughly every 2.5 months. Voice Actors will be given 2 weeks to return recordings once scripts are sent. Some parts will require more dialogue and a longer commitment, others will only be in a chapter or two. Details will be listed with each character. Additional roles will be added after initial casting.
Discord is Required. Be able to meet your deadlines and be available for retakes if needed. Please have a USB mic (no headsets, unless the quality is great), minimal to no background noise. YouTube has great tutorials on how to make a soundproofing box for little to no investment.
This is an unpaid role. BlackBanshee Studios is an Entertainment Studio based at Full Sail university in Winter Park, FL. Actors will be credited and can use this as part of their portfolio.

Tone: Sarcastic - Bored

Description: The player interacts with them after their rescue to which this character is
Influences: Phil - Hercules
Tone: Energetic – Excited
“Thank you, stranger, you’ve saved me!”
*Random goat noises
“If you can rescue two other God’s there might be hope for you yet.”
Description: This character is used to isolation and prefers limited social interaction. They’re often forgetful and prefer to skip the dramatics.
Influences: The Hound – Game of Thrones
Tone: Assertive
“I don’t know who sent you here but I’m grateful.”
“Yeah, I’m sure I could muster up the tools to build that for you.”
“I’m sorry kid, what’s your name again?”
Description: Although this character is the messenger of the God’s and blessed with inhuman speed, they’re a true jokester.
Influences: Bobby Zimmeruski – A Goofy Movie
“I won’t bring up the fact that you saved me for last…. or that it took you a while to get here.”
“Wait! I’m getting a message from the Gods…never-mind, wrong channel.”
“So, what’s your power? Is it within the poncho?”
Description: She’s essentially an extra who hurdles blood curling screams at random intervals.
*screams*
Description: This character is an older villain who refuses to retire. He insists on showing other villains “the ropes” yet he’s never fully prepared.
Influences: Dracula – Hotel Transylvania
“Would you mind waiting just a moment? Sorry…I’ve got to adjust my cape.”
“Aw, this is a new cape! You’re going to ruin it.”
“You’re pretty scrawny for a hero. Are you sure you’re the right guy?”
Description: Just straight up evil and super creepy. This character is all bad vibes.
Influences: Dr. Hannibal Lecter – The Silence of the Lambs
Tone: Sinister
“Are you the hero of this story? How pathetic.”
“Was there a delay in the hero making factory?”
“Being the hero is easy, imagine being the villain. There’s so much adversity against us.”
Description: A bit more understanding than his counterpart, ZorroD. They believe they are the true hero of this story and the player is merely a pawn for their character development.
Influences: Antonio Banderas – Spy Kids
Tone: Sympathetic
“Listen, I totally get it. We’re the bad guys, I don’t blame you at all.”
“Honestly, I’m not even sure what my role is here.”
“I see you’ve met my twin. He’s normally pretty chill but the boss has been super strict since you showed up...”
Description: Twin brothers who enter battle together. Their style resembles Robin Hood and his gang of Merry Men.
Influences: Robin Hood
“Hut, hut, hut”
Description: Although their appearance is most terrifying, they’re actually a bit of a pacifist. They fight when provoked but it takes them a moment to get revved up.
Influences: Kronk – Emperor's New Groove
Tone: Playful - Naive
“I’d prefer not to hit a…child? Hey kid, how old are you?”
“This just feels weird, who sent a child into battle.”
“Ya know, I’m going to complain about this. First they cut our benefits and now this?”
