Graceful*Lucid Pretty Cure! v2

The third Cure in the show, and Yuna’s friend from childhood. A smart, sporty and friendly girl that plays on the school’s baseball team, the Raimei Crocodiles, and is its top pitcher. While usually calm, Yukari can be easily angered if her friends are hurt (so don’t mess with them!) She’s also rather analytical when she needs to be, functioning as the brains + brawn of the trio (her, Yuna, and Momo). She becomes the Pretty Cure of Electricity, Goals and Friendship, Cure Electric.

For Yukari, she has a tomboyish, somewhat rough sounding voice, but can sound more calm and girlish when necessary. A good example of this would be Nagisa/Natalie’s voice in the Canadian English dub of Futari wa Pretty Cure. The fourth Cure in the series, a young lady in her final year of high school who works as a popular idol. Stubborn, standoffish, and cold, she usually pushes others away and prefers to do stuff on her own. Violence is something she hates with a passion. However, on stage as an idol, her true self - a more energetic, cheerful, and peppier side - comes out. She dislikes being honest about her feelings, thus she puts on the “mask of coldness” because she wants to be seen as cool. As the Pretty Cure of passion and feelings, Cure Future, she holds the power of stars and a variety of psychic abilities. Those who’d like to voice Hani would also have to be able to sing, ‘cos she’s an idol!

Her mature, older sister-like voice, though somewhat deep in tone, still sounds rather young. Off the stage, her voice is somewhat blunt-sounding. As an idol, her voice is more energetic and somewhat higher pitched.

One of the eight Cures (being its sixth ranger in Season 1), as well as Meikaina’s “almost-princess”. A very shy, sensitive young girl who doesn’t understand social cues very well and can come off as quite rude. She can be suspicious of others at first glance, such as when she suspected Yuna and her friends of being aliens after seeing them fighting as Pretty Cure. Early on, she used to be more quiet and crybaby-ish, and often compared herself to others, but after becoming a Cure, she became more confident in herself, and came out of her shell. In earlier episodes, Dema has a very shy-sounding, somewhat high-pitched quiet voice. It sounds a bit more confident after becoming a Cure, though. As Cure Frost, it deepens and sounds more serious, something akin to Sailor Moon.

One of the eight Cures, a third year middle schooler, and best friends with Rin, her Pretty Cure partner. A kind, sweet, tranquil girl, and much calmer in comparison to Rin, and girlier than her. She’s rather shy and modest, and quite naïve at times - which can land her in trouble. She holds heavy interest in traditional Japanese culture, and much like Yuna, loves sweets (but isn’t too open about it). Minori likes trying new things, some of which she can quickly become rather skilled at, such as archery. Together with Rin, she becomes Cure Clover, the Pretty Cure of Clovers, Luck, and the Earth.

Her voice is more soft-spoken than most of the others but less so than Dema, somewhat on the lighter end, and very girlish. She’s bilingual, so she speaks both English and Japanese. If speaking Japanese, Minori speaks with a slight Kansai accent.

One of three Fairymon, and Yuna’s first fairy partner. Part of her name comes from the Japanese word “kizuna”, or “bond”, alluding to Yuna’s love for forming strong bonds with others. Quite mature for her age and has a decent memory, but can be bossy at times! Although she’s 10 in human years, a teenage girl voice (perhaps something peppy but mature) would work the best for her!

One of three Fairymon, and Momo’s fairy partner. Existing just as long as Kizucchi has, he’s actually pretty chill compared to her, and rarely bossy. He wants to learn more about the human world and, although just as smart as her, can be dumb at times. Part of his name, “yume”, means “dream”, alluding to Momo’s support for Yuna’s dream and her desire to chase her own. He sounds pretty young compared to Kizucchi.
