Gorillaz: The Abridged Band (GTAB for short) is a music video parody fandub series created by IcyLapis. All three Phase 1 episodes are currently available to watch only on Kamtape and Dailymotion. I strongly recommend watching at least one before auditioning so you can understand the tone and energy of the series.

The scripts for the Phase 2 episodes have not been written yet and may take a good while. However, we are always looking for collaborations! ("We" as in me. I voice pretty much all of the characters in Phase 1 since I don't have many VA friends, lmfao.) Mic quality isn't a priority, neither is professionalism. The only thing I request is that you are able to send WAV or MP3 files to me directly over Discord and are willing to rerecord lines if necessary. (This is my first time directing other people, so I will try my best not to come off as harsh. I am a rather shy beginner VA myself and I want people who voice in my series to feel safe, and to have as much fun as they can with this project. That is all that matters to me. :D) A groupchat will likely be created when roles are finalized, just so I can keep track of everything and remind people when scripts are done, and lines are ready to be recorded. I am still figuring out how it will all work, so I do apologize.
When voicing characters meant to depict the real-life collaborators of the original Demon Days album, I ask that you remain respectful at ALL TIMES. I have no tolerance for anything that may even RESEMBLE genuine mockery and harassment towards real musicians. This is a fun, comedic fan-made parody. However, if you do choose to audition, please be mature and know that there are limits.
This is a PG-13 webseries, therefore humor can be somewhat crude at times, so I request that everyone who applies is at least 16 years of age. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
You may apply for multiple roles. However, in that case you will likely only get one role per phase as I would like to give everyone a chance. All roles (aside from Murdoc obviously) are one-time characters unless stated otherwise.
This is a SILLY NON-PROFIT FANSERIES made for FUN, rather than money. Therefore, nobody is getting paid.
