Gods and subjects

Hello, my name is Andrei ([redacted]), I'm from Romania, and yes, English is my second language. I will list below the required voices for a fantasy, animation movie, with the temporary name of "Gods and subjects".

A few words about the project : It's full CGI, most of the work is done. All my crew needs now is the dialogue, to get the timing and the facial movements right. As it turns out, software engineers are not good voice actors. The script and dialogue are completely in English.

Any and all credit for the voice acting will be yours.

A few requirements for the recording:

- decent microphone (the audio will pass through a software filter, but the better the recordings, the better the result)

- accent and  intonation are not an issue (you are given all the liberty of acting - we will mold the animation after your voices)

The voices :

Male voices:

David (protagonist) :

He is the main character of the movie, he is in his 20's, he's a strong, mostly serious person, with his mind centered on only one thing : his family.

Voice Type : medium-low to low, Adult

Line : (alluring) "How about a nice stake for dinner, maybe with some garlic."

Simon :

David's friend, he is in his 20's, jovial, curious, simple.

Voice Type : medium-low to low, Adult

Line : (angry) "Crap. They did it again didn't they?"

Samuel :

Villain, snickering, snaky. He uses his selfishness to take every decision.

Voice Type : medium to medium-high, Middle aged

Line : "Hello, we are looking for someone!"

Daniel :

Samuel's brother, a father figure, stoic, warm, wise.

Voice Type : medium, Middle aged

Line : (wise) "Well, ancient or not, it has no reason to be here."

Adrian :

Daniel's son, he is young, 20 at most, inexperienced, tries to be funny.

Voice Type : medium to medium-high, Early Adult

Line : (funny) "Always in need of your little brother's help, eh?"

Mathew :

Secondary character, strong silent type, calculated.

Voice Type : medium low to low, Adult

Line : (calm) "Hang on a second, what's with this forest?"

Philip :

Father figure, old man, wise.

Voice Type : medium to medium-low, old

Line : (fearful) "I can see it when I close my eyes, and its there, like its burning me!"

Andrei :

He only appears as one of David's hallucinations. He is a small child, jovial, curious.

Voice type : medium-high to high, child

Line : (calm, almost whispering) "Time to wake up father! About time we meet!"

The Blacksmith ( nameless ) :

He has just a few lines.

Voice Type : medium, Middle aged

Line : (disappointed) "I don't even have the smallest clue on what to make of it!"

Villager (nameless) :

He has just a few lines.

Voice Type : medium, Adult

Line : "Samuel's orders. Can't open the gates during fog!"

Female voices:

Athena :

A figure of a god. She is calm and calculated. Her voice will be software edited.

Voice Type : medium to medium-low, Adult

Line : (convincing) "Indeed, you need them far less than they need you!"

Azura (her name does not appear in the dialogue) :

Mythical female, mother figure, calm, soft and warm. Her voice will be software edited.

Voice Type : medium to medium-low, Adult

Line : (calm) "I had to protect you from her! My Angel is selfish like that! She could have hurt you!"

Helen :

David's wife. She is in her 20's.

Voice Type : medium, Adult

Line : (playful, hoarse) "You'll have to quit doing that!"

Anna :

Early 20's, curious, interested.

Voice Type : medium, Adult

Line : (overwhelmed) "Im having a hard time understanding all this!"

Gabi :

Late 20's, burdened daughter of Philip. She is stressed, tired.

Voice Type : medium, Adult

Line : (cold, tired) "Yes father, only I know where it's hidden."

Samantha :

Early 20's. She's just got her voice back. Rough. Cold.

Voice Type : medium to medium-low, Adult

Line : (disappointed, patronizing) "An old woman passed by, said she knows these people, she said she has food, and the boys couldn't resist.:

Cassandra :

Samatha's mother. She is old and experienced. Wisest of all.

Voice Type : medium to medium-high, Old

Line : (judging) "Something was in here. This is clean."

Isis :

A hologram, she will be almost inflexible, cold.

Voice Type : medium, Adult

Line : (casual) "Indeed! My programing was not intended to hold the Earth stable for this long."

Little girl :

Child, jovial, playful. She will have just a few lines.

Voice Type : medium, Child

Line : (avoiding) "I was just aaa... Looking out for him!"

Agnes:

Child, curious, jovial. She will have just a few lines.

Voice Type : medium to medium-high.

Line : (impressed) "But Gaia, an angel took your blade. She was tall and shiny!"

There is no time limit. We would however like the project to be finished by this time next year.
