Ghost In the Shell Manga English Fandub

Ghost In the Shell Manga English Fandub

Project Overview

This is a manga Fandub of Shirow Masamune's Ghost In The Shell

As an example of how the videos will look here is another manga fandub I recently created:

https://youtu.be/kBaAK8mMprU

I'm looking for male and female voice actors for various  parts in the few first episodes of the series, some of these characters may appear in later parts of the series as well, therefore I will need actors that will stick with the project, that way I can avoid re-casting roles. These are all the characters I need for now, but there will also be more characters available in the future so keep an eye out for updates!

To audition there are only a few prerequisites

1) good Mic quality similar to in the video linked above

2) If you are cast in the project, after i've sent you the script please send me your lines at your earliest convenience, preferably before the second week of march

3) For the auditions try to do 3-4 takes for each line so I can truly get a sense of what you sound like

Feel free to contact me at this E-Mail if you have any questions:

Far this particular role/roles im looking for various voices as in some lines (the one that begins with "All" for example) all characters speak together in unison, but I am also looking for individual voices as some of these characters speak individual lines of dialogue (EX. "Child 2, Child3"). Therefore if you are auditioning for this role, even if specifically child 1 or 2.  record auditions for all the lines associated with this role. As for the voice try to sound youthful as the characters are children and teens ranging from 10-19, but also sound defeated, tired, and miserable.

  • All: Oh, what a wonderful center… Oh, our teacher is so kind… Oh, our meals are so fine… our beds so fluffy… our work so fun

  • Child 2: I wish i’d never been born… What kinda life is this?

  • Child 3: Forget it...They say it's worse than here, that they turn you into a vegetable .

Try your best to make this character sound deep-voiced, as well as arrogant and pompous as he is in a position of high authority. The character is also a bit heavyset and older so try a take with very labored breathing.

  • Well, Major Kusanagi… Seems you got a tad carried away this time , yes?

  • Now, about the issue you raised… The special forces unit you wanted formed… Hmm. Incidents like this make it, how shall i put it? A bit difficult, so it all depends on your future behavior.
