Genshin World Quest Fandubs - Petrichor & Chenyu Vale Series

Project Overview

For those that love Genshin Impact and love its story...even the unvoiced parts...this project is for you! We can provide the voices so everyone else can enjoy world quests too!!

The above video is our YouTube Short trailer for "Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual," our most recently completed questline, to give you a sample (non-trailers will be done as long-form videos in traditional 16:9 format--you can visit the YouTube channel for examples)!

This project will cover the "Chenyu's Blessings of Sunken Jade" and "Canticles of Harmony" questlines (more known as the Chenyu Vale and Petrichor World Quests), with a time commitment of approximately 2 months each.

This project will run simultaneously with my Jeht quest series fandub and deadlines may coincide with each other. If you are a part of my other project, please be aware of the time commitment necessary before auditioning. Production will begin after our current Inazuma quest series fandub ends (approximately in late August/early September).

Videos will be published on YouTube as a single video per quest in each questline (3 for Chenyu Vale, 5 for Petrichor) in order, starting with the "Chenyu's Blessings of Sunken Jade" questline.

Important Notes:
1) Please have clear audio quality and as little background noise/echo as possible (preferably none).

2) If you would like to audition with multiple takes, please do so in AABBCC format and limit to 2 takes.
3) No need to slate your auditions.
4) Please also provide your Discord as all the project work will be organized there.
5) Auditioning for multiple roles is encouraged! You may be cast for multiple roles, especially if you also apply to minor roles.

6) Deadline may be extended to allow for additional applicants if needed. Casting will remain open for up to 6 weeks but may be closed sooner if roles are filled.

  • Aether Urgent Recasting!

    A new role has been added for an urgent recast for Aether in our Jeht Quest Series. The VA casted for this role will have a time commitment of at least the next 3 months for the entire remaining quest series, starting from the middle of the Dirge of Bilqis questline.

    Note: Aether will not be participating in the Chenyu Vale or Petrichor quests. This role will be casted much sooner than the rest of the roles listed in this project.

His VA should be able to convey Boethius as a subservient advisor to Remus, as well as a fanatic obsessed with the old ways and ideals of the kingdom of Remuria, spurning any that oppose these ideals.

The true antagonist of the series, revealed during its single appearance in the climax. Created to unite humanity through music, but in granting the darkest desires of Remurians, led to Remuria's downfall.

Although genderless, I imagine a female voice for it because it was created from Sybilla, who was female. I imagine a voice conveying strength and authority, like Raiden Shogun. I am not looking for a voice match, but rather a vibe match, if that makes sense.

  • Hahaha, so you're colleagues from the Institute? Excellent, looks like you guys couldn't stand that hopeless wreck of an organization either!

She told me that the warriors back then were all giants who were over ten feet tall! Little Mao: The warriors of Chenyu Vale were covered in tattoos, and they had these massive jade axes that could chop a person in half in the blink of an eye! And the Millelith, led by none other than the Lord of Geo himself, were even tougher! They clad themselves in suits of armor that weighed over a thousand pounds and fought with hundred-pound spears! Apparently, everyone was at war back then, so much so that Bishui River turned crimson red...

A suanni in Chenyu Vale that doesn't understand humans and is attempting to restore nature, which will ultimately lead to driving humanity out of Chenyu Vale. Revealed to be the cause of the declining quality of tea in the conclusion of the series. Major role.

I imagine a strong female voice that can convey coldness or indifference, speaking primarily in a very matter-of-fact manner. 

  • (cold, questioning) Plants pursue the sunlight and fertile soil, creating fruit fit for the birds and beasts to consume. The digested seeds are scattered, and those which consume seed and fruit become bait for predators. Thus does everything return to the land. The snake hidden in the branches, the fish in the mountains, and the beasts of the forest. Traveling in the realm of nature is wonderful, so why have you come?

  • I want to change this land. I want to make it like it was all those millennia ago. You have walked with humans for too long. You have forgotten that you, I, and the snake all came from nature.

  • What happened after caused me still more confusion. You fought alongside humans and their so-called gods, and you perished. Humans fighting each other over territory and survival... Now that, I can understand.
