For those that love Genshin Impact and love its story...even the unvoiced parts...this project is for you! We can provide the voices so everyone else can enjoy world quests too!!
This project will cover the "Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual" and "Through the Mists" questlines, with a time commitment of approximately 2 months each.
This project will run simultaneously with my Jeht quest series fandub and deadlines may coincide with each other. If you are a part of my other project, please be aware of the time commitment necessary before auditioning.
Videos will be published on YouTube as 4 individual parts (per questline) in order, starting with the "Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual" questline.
Important Notes:
1) Please have clear audio quality and as little background noise/echo as possible (preferably none).
2) If you would like to audition with multiple takes, please do so in AABBCC format and limit to 1-2 takes.
3) No need to slate your auditions.
4) Please also provide your Discord as all the project work will be organized there.
5) Auditioning for multiple roles is encouraged! You may be cast for multiple roles, especially if you also apply to minor roles.
6) Deadline may be extended to allow for additional applicants if needed.

The best travel companion ever!
Talking in place of the protagonist for the majority of the game, this is a very major role.
Overall, Paimon's personality is a delightful blend of cuteness, energy, curiosity, and loyalty, making her a beloved character.
If possible, try to imitate the English VA: Corina Boettger
Make sure you can sustain your Paimon voice for many, MANY lines. Absolutely fine to try a different take of Paimon's voice that isn't as...loud.
The person cast as Paimon will also serve as an understudy to the Paimon that we currently have cast for a separate project (and vice versa) in the event that they are not able to record their lines for a given deadline.
(introduction) This is Lumine, and Paimon's name is Paimon!
(slowly piecing together evidence, excitedly coming to the wrong conclusion) We also saw someone who looked like you in some memories. She even had the same name as you... You must be just like Ioroi, a bake-danuki who was sealed several centuries ago!
(feigned excitement, hiding sadness, knowing that this is goodbye, but trying to make plans that will never be fulfilled) Paimon's sure you two would be the best of friends. Maybe you'll even perform together in Mondstadt's city square! And... And... We can take you on adventures! Lumine's a real ace at that! We'll go to all sorts of places, like the super high-up Wangshu Inn... There's also the Grand Narukami Shrine, which is way up high too, and has a big tree that looks like a kitsune! And we can go to Sangonomiya Shrine on Watatsumi Island. That place looks like something out of a dream...
The "silent" protagonist of the game. A major role.
Lumine's personality can range from stoic, humble and helpful to boastful, lazy and short-tempered.
There are instances of single speech options or similar options which give a glimpse at their personality overall. For this project, we won't shy away from the ridiculous speech options~
Lumine does not appear to be very talkative, with several characters noting that they are not very fond of speaking or starting conversations.

Hanachirusato (previously called Kazari if completing this quest when it first released) is a shrine maiden whose purpose includes carefully watching over Narukami Island and purifying festering evocations through the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual.
A major role. This character is a mystery whose past unfolds as the questline progresses. She speaks formally and matter-of-factly. She is also the character whose dialogue unravels much of the plot.
In my head, she has a mature manner of speaking similar to Cloud Retainer/Xianyun, but with a younger voice. But I am open to other interpretations of her voice.
(matter-of-fact) I am loyal to Narukami Island, not some police station. (misspeaking, correcting herself) Besides, she...I have had dealings with Konda Village for a long time as well. (thoughts trailing off) If those families were to be cut off, I would not be able to face...(returning to proper manner of speaking) Please excuse me. Let us get back to business.
That is why we must perform the Cleansing Ritual. Unfortunately, my... physical condition, shall we say, prevents me from accomplishing this deed.
(speaking fondly of a friend) How wonderful it would be if she had had the chance to meet you. (vulnerable and open-hearted) But when I think about that, I can't help but selfishly think that... "If that had been the case, then I wouldn't have been born. I wouldn't have inherited her memories, nor would I have met you."
Futaba is the adopted daughter of the Village Chief, Konda Densuke. She also has a nephew, Takeru, who is the Village Chief's grandson. She enjoys listening to Saimon Eri's scary stories.

Takeru lives in Konda Village with his grandfather, Konda Densuke, and aunt Futaba, because of his father having to battle in the war.

Saimon Eri is the wife of Saimon Katsumi and the mother of Saimon Jirou. She enjoys telling scary stories to Futaba.

Konda Densuke is the Village Chief of Konda Village. He has an adopted daughter named Futaba, and a grandson named Takeru. During this quest, he covered up crimes committed by young people in the village to avoid others from getting the blame and tarnishing the reputation of Konda Village.
(defensive) Konda Village is simple and peaceful. There are no secrets here. If you're looking for secrets, why don't you just go to the Grand Narukami Shrine and learn the secrets of deciphering fortune slips? Or how about you go to Chinju Forest and see if you can hear the "tanuki-bayashi," huh!?
After entrusting the secret to a kind young person like you, I'm more relieved now...*sigh* Did Konda Village become like this because I couldn't fulfill my duty to the gods?

As such, we might as well give the Lens to someone who can show it all the changes the world has gone through rather than letting it gather dust in our shrine.
Kamuna Harunosuke was a historical figure in Inazuma who lived 500 years ago. He was an onmyouji who was dual-trained by the Adepti of Liyue and Inazuma's Tengu as part of The Yougou Three. He was the last person to perform the Sacred Sakura Cleansing Ritual.
He is not explicitly named in this quest, and appears as "Mysterious Man."

Ioroi is a bake-danuki who lives in Chinju Forest, formerly serving as its protector. He often competed with the Kitsune Saiguu up until her death during the cataclysm 500 years ago.[1] Unaware that she had died and believing that she was simply hiding, Ioroi wreaked havoc across Narukami Island in an attempt to lure her out. Instead, he was sealed away by Kamuna Harunosuke, one of the Yougou Three and a former acquaintance of Saiguu's.

I am imagining a voice similar to Gamabunta from Naruto. Deep and mature, but flexible enough for the playful delivery of lines.

Hmph! Humans. They're so short-lived, and they can't even transform... I don't get why that kitsune likes them so much. That guy who sealed me up was especially infuriating. He even told me to "strike a nice pose so that I can become nice scenery." Why, that little—!
The Kitsune Saiguu was a prominent historical figure in Inazuma who was worshipped as a kitsune goddess. During a "dark disaster," likely the cataclysm 500 years ago, she was among those who disappeared. She was consumed by a "dark will," and both her body and memories were broken down and turned into filth.
Although she does not formally appear in this questline, her voice appears in flashbacks.

A major role, Ruu was the child of the last priest, Mata, of Tsurumi Island. Ruu enjoyed spending time with the other villagers. He was also fond of singing, although he was somewhat embarrassed about it and often went off into the fog to sing alone. His singing captivated the local deity, the Thunderbird, who originally paid no mind to the island's people. However, Ruu was not intimidated by the guardian, and they talked briefly, with Ruu giving her the name "Kanna Kapatcir."
(excited)Still, you've come at exactly the right time! Today's the day of our big ceremony! Kapatcir will definitely be pleased to have new and rare guests taking part.
(feeling betrayed) Why... Why did you do this? I thought that the two of you were good, strong people...And that you'd be different from the others! You came back to look for me, listened to everything I said... I thought that the ceremony would go well this time... But...

She is so enthusiastic and absorbed in reading and writing novels that even the people she meets are potential novel material for her.
My name's Sumida. As for my pen name... I haven't finished thinking about it yet. I've got plans to take part in this year's "This Novel Is Amazing!" As such, I need a reliable adventurer to help me make a trip to Tsurumi Island.
(bombarding Lumine with questions of her exploits) Well then, did you defeat a giant dragon not long after your story began? Or perhaps, did you get wrapped up in some crisis upon which the survival of a nation hung? Have you ever faced off against "an elite antagonistic force with a numbered ranking scheme"?
(enthusiastic greeting) Oh my, oh my! It's the legendary Lumine... (imitating Paimon) "And Paimon's the legendary Paimon!" (beginning to notice strange behavior)...Huh, funny. Shouldn't she make some retort at this juncture? This feels like we're departing from her character profile somehow...

The person cast for this character will be playing both present day Kama and his ancestor "Kama" in a flashback.
Both have a strong sense of responsibility. Present day Kama is responsible for the well-being of Sumida, and "Kama" bears the responsibility of passing down the story of his home after he leaves. However, present day Kama is very detached and deadpan, which should be very clear in the delivery of his lines.
(actually amused, but still deadpan, not actually laughing) Haha, very funny.
(hopeful, with a sense of responsibility) I, too, believe that there are green lands beyond the Sea of Fog, and humans too, and that there were people and history before the Thunderbird came, but someone needs to record the things that happened in our village.
(deadpan, obviously reciting a Sumida's script) "Perhaps I simply find it intolerably shameless for me to play the fly on the wall as you boldly step into Tsurumi Island. Perhaps I believe that even illusions have feelings, and so I would do ill in allowing them to suffer in this cycle. Or perhaps I simply think that I might help Ruu by breaking this perpetual ocean of fog, and in fulfilling the wishes of my ancestors I shall be freed from the 'history' that binds me."
...Maybe I just wish that all will go well with him...

These murals depict a time before the Sea of Fog. A long, long time ago, there was no fog over the world, so everyone could see what was up there!
Up there, they could see these round- and pointy-shaped things, and these mountain-like things! That's why these ancient murals look the way they do!

Roald, most commonly known as Roald the Adventurer, is a famous adventurer whose skill and determination is only outclassed by his ability to consistently lose his diary. Previously hired by Sumida for the same commission on Tsurumi Island as Lumine is now working on. Called in to recount his experience to try and solve the island's mysteries.

As a detective, I do not believe in such things as "destiny." Everything happens for a reason, and all occurrences follow their own unique logic. "Destiny" doesn't come into it at all.
AKA the Great Thunderbird, worshipped as guardian of Tsurumi Island. Came to be highly interested in Ruu after hearing his singing.
Looking for a mature, almost maternal voice--yet cold and aloof, with absolute confidence over the mere human she converses with. Almost conveying the idea that she has just found a new plaything rather than made a new friend.

I have heard the songs of the trees, the strains of the cloud and rain, and the melodies sung by the blue flying dragon of the far north. I have heard every trembling chorus of fox and rabbit and worm as I descended upon the land. But your song is special. It is different from that of the boar, the fish, and the Wen Kamuy.
