General Casting for a Real-Time Fandub Group (PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE AUDITIONING!!!)

Project Overview

Hello! My name is GoldPiplup64. I, like a lot of people love Real-Time Fandubs and the moments they have. I recently thought that I should make my own so here we are! If you've never seen one, here's the most infamous one:https://youtu.be/IMC0uZY2iH0

Now, auditioning in that project is quite different from the usual way. Let me explain.

How is auditioning different in this project?

Instead of auditioning for a role, you're auditioning for a time slot.

A time slot?

Yes, auditions will be happening over several days. Auditions will start from April 10th, 2020 to April 24th, 2020. 

Audition Process (on Casting Call Club)

You will submit a short recording (30-45 is a good time frame but it can be shorter if need be) of your online name or your real name, the day you are available between the 10th and the 24th, and what type of voices you can do (male, female, or child voices character impressions, any other weird voice). Make absolute sure you put your Discord Tag below your audition (just comment your Discord Tag and make sure it's absolutely correct). After I get your audition I will try to ask for a friend request on Discord (On Discord, I go by GPipscue64#2463). I will add you to a group chat with the specific date you asked for. If there are not enough people for the audition day, I'll ask if people on lower populated days can go to the more populated ones. My number I like to hit for people is at the minimum of 6. This cast is going to be about 8-10 people. 

Auditioning Process (for Discord)

Alright, here's the real thing! On Discord, I will get everyone on to the call and each of you will do a RTF with a partner with random videos. It's pretty much that simple... Though you aren't completely done after auditions. 

There's more?!

Yep! I'll be doing callbacks! Callbacks will be on May 13th, 2020. I bet some of you don't know what that is. Callbacks essentially mean that if I liked your audition I want you to come back and do it with other auditioners I liked. It's kinda like an audition but slightly different. I'll be posting who will be going to callbacks on the 27th of April so you can get a heads up. If you get to callbacks, I'll be giving you actual video game cutscenes to RTF with a random person. We'll be doing the same scenes to get a feel on how everyone can do it. Once I feel we're good to move on, we'll move on to another scene and etc... 

Here's somethings to keep in mind before auditioning.

1. IF YOU KNOW YOU'RE A BUSY PERSON, DON'T AUDITION! Please audition if you know you don't have much to do. During the real deal, I will give specific dates to get into calls. I'm willing to be conform to other's schedules but try to be as free as possible. I'll try to keep the recording dates about a month apart from the announcement but I need EVERYONE there. 

2. Having little to no static is what will give you a better chance in getting into the cast
