Gate Abridged episode 2
Project Overview
- Overview:
Gate Abridged is a project made by Chief-VA for a smaller YouTube channel called "The Ani-Trash House". The series already has 1 episode out however its quality is less than ideal considering it started out as a joke project with minimal effort. However Oddly enough it got a decent amount of traction causing me to work on the second episode in a higher quality. Meaning actual VAs voicing. characters instead of only me (Chief). The writing is all done by me so if some jokes seem off that's why. And its a lot less story driven of a series and a lot more quick punchlines that all fall into chronological order. episode 2 has been in the works for well over a year now and is almost compete, All that's left to do is get a few more voice lines and it can be completed. If you are un-familiar with the series GATE then I advise going and watching both seasons before looking into this project.

- Requirements:
- Must have a decent quality microphone that does not pop or easily peak from talking loudly.
- Scheduling recording sessions are fairly easy for me so as long as you have some free time we will be able to record no problem
- Must have Discord so i can contact you if you are selected to play a role.
- If you wish to submit an audition for the character (preferred in a .wav file) please Leave a note in you audition of your discord username (ex. Name#1234). In the event you are selected to play as the role you auditioned for that is how i will be contacting you. you will receive a friend request from me so we can talk (My username is Lazer)

The King is a middle aged man about in his 60s who generally has given up on caring about ruling his kingdom but doesn't really want people to realize that. He prefers to be sleeping or relaxing but can bring himself to be confident and a ruler when necessary. (Yes this whole personality is changed from the originalKi)
[Wakes up startled from being yelled at across the room] (starts out startled and slowly flows into aggravation) "Oh god its you, Come on boy you know the consequence of waking me during my slumber! 30 years in the dungeon for you Take him away boys!"
[After being interrupted] (start normal and transition into angry yelling) "Oh god damn it WHAT DO YOU PEOPLE WANT FROM ME?!"
[begins thinking to himself] (confused and slightly panicked) "Dear god what happened when I was asleep?!"
Top is a older Military member. He's been in for years and is a grizzled veteran. Hes in his late 50s and trained everyone under him.
[In formation] (in a booming voice) "CAST INTRODUCE YOURSELVES!"
[Sitting down talking to Itami from the back seat] (talking normally until cut off) "Looks like its smooth sailing from here-"
[overlooking the dragons destruction and sights the dragon itself] (serious tone) "Well there's more bad news if you look bearing 20!"
Duran is a king from a subordinate nation. He is a minor character for now but later on has a few more lines. He is a old man most likely in his 60s and lightly irish.
[looking out at all the body's after a failed raid on the JSDF camp] (Completely shocked)
"holy shit everyone's dead!... he's dead and he's dead and he’s fucking dead there all dead!"
Just some random young guards. Hes basically a throw away character meant for one quick joke so have fun with his voice and surprise me!
[talking to his fellow guard] (be creative this character is only in one scene and a joke) "Oh my god guard derik have you heard the news!?"
