Solar System ✭ Idol Group
Project Overview
Hello there! I am looking for nine singers who would like to be part of an Idol Cover Group. You want to audition? That is awesome :3 But first I'd like you to read the following lines carefully so you have the best chances of getting casted!
About the project
This is an Idol Group based on our solar system. There will be Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune as singers and Pluto as our artist.
There is no age limit and no gender limits (only Venus (female) and Mars (male)).
What we will do
We will cover songs in English and maybe in other languages (only if you can speak other languages and are comfortable with it. For example a cover with mixed languages/...).
The songs can reach from popular ones (that are popular nowadays or were it once in the last 60 years) to songs from series and video games up to original ones. (There's no limit :D)
I know that it seems to be many people for a cover group, but I would not only like to do covers with everyone in it, but also group up to four people for seperate covers (solo covers are also possible).
We will have a Youtube Channel on which I will upload our covers. You can send the audio files to me and I will put them all together, mix it and do the editing. I will link your social media accounts (optional).
I would not only like to do covers, but a little bit later on also FAQ, get to know us-videos and much, much more content (that is also optional, so don't feel like you have to).
How to audition (IMPORTANT)
1) Every planet (or star) has it's own characteristics, so look through the descriptions and choose what you think would fit your voice and personality best! Just in case you don't know or you want to audition for more than one role, just tell me in your audition comment.
2) Sing any song you like and which you feel comfortable with. In case you want to take part in any other than the cover, like FAQs or other videos, please give me an idea of your speaking voice, too. You can introduce yourself :) Do not worry, that will only be a very, very small part of the audition, your singing is way more important!
3) Please put the following information in your audition comment: age, name, for what roles you audition (if you audition for more than one) and if you'd also like to be part in other videos than covers and if you'd like to be linked on the description and end card of the videos.
Audition Rules
There is no age limit and you can also have an accent, that is no problem, since our solar system also has such a variancy and diversity! The only criteria is that you have a decent microphone and fun! Your microphone quality or accents should not hold you back from auditioning. I have an accent myself so that is no no-go ;)
Note: I am taking whatever role is left at the end, so the last role on which nobody auditioned will be deleted (so if you want to be a specific character, better audition as soon as possible).

About the Character Design
Since Mercury is the smallest of all eight planets in our solar system, this character will also be the smallest of the group. The planet has a grey, rocky surface, so as a conlusion to this the clothes will be in grey/white and/or black (very basic and clean). Anything else about the character design will be up to you!

About the Character Design
Venus is named after the Roman goddess of beauty and love. Therefore, it would be great to have a female voice for Venus, but it does not have to be. The planet's surface is white and has a golden shimmer, and this fits to the association of a Roman goddess. Clothes will be designed in that colours, too. Anything else about the character design will be up to you!

About the Character Design
Our planet is often called "The blue marble". Earth will have blue as it's primary clothing colour, but many other colours are also possible, since our planet is very varied. Anything else about the character design will be up to you!

Short information
For this character a male voice would be more fitting, but females can also be casted, so feel free to show me what you can do :)
About the Character Design
Mars - a red planet, full of iron, named after the Roman god of war. This character will be very badass and will be wearing clothes in red and black, with vibrant hair (maybe a rock/punk touch, but I'll leave that up to you! Anything else about the character design will be up to you!

About the Character Design
Jupiter is a gas giant and named after rhe Roman god of thunder. Yellow/Orange and black are the primary colours. The character will also look very badass, but the details are up to you - just as Anything else about the character design!

About the Character Design
Saturn is named after the Roman god of agriculture and time. It is one of the two gas giants (the other one is Jupiter). The character will have a pocket watch and Jupiter's yellow/golden colours will also be found in this character design (for example the golden pocket watch which will also represent the time). Everything else about the character design will be up to you!

About the Character Design
Uranus is named after the Greek god of the sky. It is one of the ice giants, so the colours will be white and blue. Everything else about the character design will be up to you!
You can sing whatever you like. The only important aspect is that you show me the vocal range in which you feel most comfortable. :)
About the Character Design
Neptune - named by the Roman god of the sea - is one of the ice giants. It colours will be similar to the ones of Uranus (blue and white). It will also be sea-themed. Everything else about the character design will be up to you!

About the Character Design
The sun is a star, but it is also part of our solar system. It is fire-themed, so there will be vibrant colours. I think wild curly hair would perfectly fit, but I'll leave that up to you, just as erything else about the character design!

Pluto is not considered a planet anymore, but it is still part of the solar system :)
What you do:
I would love you to draw the different characters with very little input from us (but just in case you want ideas, I think everyone will be pleased to help). You can get creative and do whatever you want - the drawing style is also up to you.
After you are casted, I will send brief descriptions or criteria to you. For example a primary colour family. Most of the design will be up to you if you want!
I would also love you to be an active part of the group (if you want). You could also be a voice actor and do parts of our end carts or information videos. But that is optional.
What you get:
Your character designs will be used in nearly every video which will be uploaded. Your social media accounts just as Youtube, Facebook, Instagram etc. can be linked in every video end cart and description. If you want, you can also draw your character pluto and I'll put it next to it. I would love you to be part of our group!
