Project Overview

Casting call for voice actors for FABridged, or Fullmetal Alchemist Abridged.

Prerequisites: 
* You must have at least above decent microphone quality. Minimal background noise, no humming or buzzing caused by the mic, box, or preamp, and the sound must stay consistently good when screaming.
* You don't need to have prior acting experience, but you must be good at acting. Show emotion, be able to scream, and convey your character accurately. The voice you give your character and their manner of speaking must be kept consistent (accent, pitch, etc.).
* You MUST have Discord, no exceptions. It's always available, free, and safe to download.
* Be active and able to turn in lines and don't fuss if we want retakes. We want the best quality we can get. 

PLEASE NOTE: Once you have submitted an audition here, please join our Discord and submit any further auditions as well as your first in the #voice_auditions channel. This way we can get a good idea that you are dedicated and follow instructions, and the rest of the team can review your work.

Annoying sibling type to Mustang, and pretty much all the other State Alchemists. Fuckin' loves his daughter. Probably googles pictures of puppies at work.
Markiplier voice. Do it. If you can't: Deep voice, North American accent, cheery as fuck. This man is a precious cinnamon roll.

  • (super cheery, baby voice, like he just saw the cutest kitten in the world) "Look at this picture

  • (super cheery, encouraging, but speaking normally this time) "C’mon Mustang, turn
    the frown upside-down!"

Grumpy boy, hates everyone, probably also hates puppies. Gargles Jack Daniels for breakfast.

As minor as minor villains go.
Something like Kenpachi from Bleach, Piccolo from DBZA, or a less gritty Zabuza from Naruto. If you can't do any of these: deep, gruff voice, North American accent, bordering on monotone.

  • (sudden, irritated surprise, yelling) "Oh no, alchemy, my only weakness!"

  • (dismissive
    irritation, subtle innuendo) "Y’know, you could offer a drink before you try to impale me."

Either go with a slightly posh English accent or a standard North American one
