Hello! If you’re reading this, you’re probably likely interested in auditioning for Frequency 107. Frequency 107 is the passion project baby of a group of 5 individuals. We’d love to have you on board! The setting is a present day earth inhabited by humans and various races of non humans. Werewolves, vampires, fairies, witches, harpies, shifters, elves, to name a few. A medieval group called the Jager were once prominent, primarily humans hunting non humans, but now in a time of conflict and tension, Jager have resurfaced within every community. While some Jager are humans hunting non humans, it’s spread to non humans going after humans, werewolves and vampires hunting each other. Anyone hunting anyone. A cult of pure hatred, segments of any and all populations are hunting and being hunted. While their influence spreads, a group of rebels come together through a radio frequency to find a way to protect the people around them. If selected for this project, you’ll be voicing one of these rebels. The pool of characters will be extremely diverse in color, origin, age, gender, and sexuality. You’ll have the interesting opportunity to work with me, the writer, while I write the scripts so that we can bring the characters to life. The script is no longer PG on account of Clay being a terrible trash boy.
If we like your audition, we’ll move into the interview phase where we’ll want to orchestrate a skype call. This audition will most likely be with the director and he’ll have a couple questions for you, nothing too formal, so don’t sweat it! Your character will likely be recurring and so we want to make sure you’re a good fit for this and that you would like to make the commitment to it before we decide to cast you. Clay’s one of the first members of Frequency 107. He’s the extremely rare product of a vampire father and a human mother. Placed in Seattle by the Coven, he’s bitter and full of hate for his father and most of the people in his life. He has no experience with being a part of a team, or being a part of group that isn’t full of people he despises. He isn’t accustomed to caring about people or having people care about him, so this is all a learning experience for him. He introduces himself to the frequency as a human, and Peach is the only one who knows the truth. Please contact for more info! For the voice, we’re looking for something middle register, smooth, but apathetic. For some reason, a cello always comes to mind. Clay also has the most one liners of the bunch. He gets his inspiration from Oscar the Grouch.
It’s easy. Think about the people they can’t hurt after we take them down. And then go home, lick your wounds, and sleep like a little baby bunny.
If you don’t hear from me in three days, assume I finally got what I’ve always wanted: murdered in my sleep.
I- uh, no, I… uhm, uh- ha, uh...what? Where did you get that? Ha! That is- uh, that’s the most riduculous- I, uh. No, I- I am fine. You just… caught me off guard. [Beat.] Is all.
An Elf from England, north of London, she’s fiercely loyal to her clan and is destroyed when the Jager burn her home and family to the ground. She goes to live with Red in Oregon, and forms a strong connection to her. Frequency 107 is all she has in the way of family now, but she continues to look for the people who took everything from her. I’d prefer someone actually from England for this role, but it isn’t necessary. She’s a perfectionist and just a little self-important. Her voice is silky and slightly higher pitched. Please make sure the accent used is easily understood.
They want us completely hopeless. If we’ve got hope and determination and enough anger to fuel it, we’re nigh invincible.
Here’s an idea- Shut up. Just stop opening your mouth because you have no idea what you’re talking about. None at all. So it’s better for everyone if you just close your mouth and let the grown ups talk.

Diamond starts the podcast studying witchcraft in Rochester, NY. She’s physically about 26-28, and she’s a caring and sweet individual. She owns the store her mother and grandmother did before her, The Witchery. Her family is from Italy, so her focus is on a pre-christian type of magic called stregheria. She’s vegan and has immense love for everybody and the tendency to work herself too hard to take care of the people she cares for. I’d prefer someone who can sing, so please include a clip of you singing, something soft and airy, Indie. Her voice is a little upbeat, but not really energetic. Soft and caring. But not too bubbly.
Okay, think of it like this- if you can’t stand up on your own, you can’t face whatever it is you’re facing, it’s too strong, then you can lie down and it can’t knock you over- but you’re stuck. But if you’ve got support, if you’re not alone, then you can stand up together, and you can walk right up to it and it can’t knock you down.
No, it’s good. Your body and mind need breaks from hard labor. It’s when you say stuff like that I worry about you, Or.
Because, because maybe I care about you! Okay? Maybe you guys are the closest thing I have to a family and so I want to keep you safe! Is that wrong? Is that selfish of me to want to keep my family from doing something that could put them in danger because I don’t want to lose them?
Magpie’s a harpy (yes, really with wings and about half/2/3 bird) from New Zealand. Her culture is huge on history through song and the magic of prophecy and music. She's a part of the Maori culture. She’s a mystic kind of character and is probably physically late 20’s. She seems to know things about people from the sound of their voice, and is incredibly wise. She's engaged to her fiancee, Pania. I would definitely prefer someone from New Zealand (or Australia, I could work with that) for this role, and I would prefer you to be able to sing, so if you could include a clip of your singing voice, that would be excellent. Her voice is lower middle range, and has a sort of mystic quality to it.
There’s whole lot of people don’t believe in prophecy, no superstition or magic. Their race grew into the modern age, grew right outta magic itself. But harpies, we still sing our history in song. We still listen.
I know things about you. Can hear them in your voice.

Foxy Boy is a mess. To the Frequency 107 crew, he’s an odd fox shifter from Alabama. To the werewolf frat boys he’s staying with, he’s the spy they tasked with watching the weird radio station. Struggling to find a place to fit in and dealing with the fact that the people who took him in are jager, he’s also coming to terms with his own sexuality. Foxy has an even deeper layer of secrets that’s yet to be revealed, as his past is currently a mystery. His voice is bubbly and higher pitched. It needs to be dynamic and have lots of energy and movement, despite his southern accent. As he changes throughout this series, his voice will change. When he becomes comfortable with his sexuality he might take on a more flamboyant voice, so if you'd like, you could offer an example of that as well.
Am I supposed to pretend that every person alive is perfectly equal? ‘Cause they ain’t. Some people are just better than others, faster, smarter, stronger, braver. nothin’ we can do ‘bout that.

Spider Priestess to a pre-aztec goddess of fertility, sex, and the underworld. She has 6 arms (and two legs) and is a complete and utter lesbian. She meets Red and Conifer when they’re in Seattle, and takes refuge with Clay. She’s the only one who knows the truth about his vampirism. She’s an ethereal and finds a lot of this a little trivial. She loves hard and fast. She’s from pre-aztec Mexico, so having the voice actor be Mexican would be extremely helpful, not just for the accent and pronunciation, but also to help the writer accurately portray her and use the language correctly. Higher, a little day dreamy at times.
I’m trying to take down the jager. Definitely. I’m just trying to woo two beautiful women while I do it and I don’t see why you have a problem with that?

Bubbi Yael is an incredibly old and blind Jew who is confined to a wheelchair. She practices kabbalah (hebrew magic), and is strong enough to maintain a golem at all times who acts as her seeing eye golem and takes her where her wheelchair can’t. She’s the witch for Or’s mine. I’d prefer someone from Eastern Europe or Israel, or at least someone who knows Hebrew both for pronunciation and accent but also to help ad lib some hebrew for the lines. Age- Think 80-90. (She’s older than that, but that’s a good human equivalent). Rougher, lower voice. Strong.

Magic’s about being strong, holdin your ground. If ya let it slip, you’ll get pushed around and banged up. You’ve got ta be tough and you’ve got ta push back. You’ve got ta wrestle it to the ground and punch it in the jaw. Don’t matter if yer in a chair, if ya can’t see, it’s about yer willpower.
Rock Golem, Bubbi Yael’s companion. He might not be the smartest, but he does feel a lot of emotions. Very low voice, rocky, gravelly.
BARG! [Excited, recognizing his name. Proud of himself.]
[Hurt/aghast/appalled/offended/indignant] BARG!
[A little hurt and embarrassed. A gentle soul.] Barg…
Smaller role, but recurring in the first season, but will be a supporting role in the seasons to follow. One of Red’s older brothers. A pediatrician. Strong but gentle voice, middle-low register. He’s a gentle and compassionate person, and very smart. Not the normal werewolf stereotype. Doesn’t condone violence until it’s necessary to protect someone. Would prefer a Native American voice actor. If you want, say some medical things that are hard to pronounce! That’ll give you a leg up.
There’s nothing wrong with asking for a little help. We’re strong because we stand for each other, not ourselves.
[Quickly, intense but not panicked.] If she doesn’t stay calm she’s going to start experiencing serious hypervolemia-

Very minor character. Red’s older brother. Noble is very in touch with his wolf, and is pretty wise. He's incredibly loyal and trusts Red with his life, despite her being younger than him. He's a comforting and empowering presence. He’s Sis and Bogie’s biological father. Strong, deeper mid range voice. (Human age- 28)
We’ve got your back, Red. What’s the play? [All business, context would be going into a battle.]
[To his children] Okay, okay, come here. No tears. Dad’s got you. You don’t have to be afraid of anything. You two are wolves, right? You’re part of my pack, our pack. I’ll tell you a very special secret. Wolves don’t ever have to be afraid. Because wolves aren’t ever alone. You two always have each other, have me and mom, have the whole pack. Always.
Pleeease, Red, I’m itchin for a pack run like you wouldn’t believe- When was the last time we even ran together? Come on! [Bark/growl, into a howl.]
Younger, higher male voice. Confined to hospital beds during life due to extreme health issues, he was always fascinated by computers and after his death, spends his afterlife manipulating technology. (Read: Ghost hacker). He’s very mischievous and has no fear of consequences, because what are they going to do, kill him?
Eh, it’s not a big deal. I don’t mind being dead that much. I can play video games 24 hours all day every day and snoop on people with basically no consequences, ever.
I just really relate to Sombra on a spiritual level. Which is the only level I have now, I guess.
Sometimes it’s easy to forget that life has any kind of value. When you’re dead. You forget that you used to care about being alive at all, and you kind of stop caring whether anyone else is alive or dead.
Clay’s flamboyantly gay roommate. A vampire, Marc’s top priorities are himself, his boyfriend Phillip, and staying safe and fed. He's not looking to snitch, but he's not going to risk anything for anybody. (Human age would be 34.)
EW, Clay, I told you to stop putting taco bell in the fridge, it’s disgusting. Every time I open the door for a little AB I get a whiff and totally lose my appetite.

A member of the werewolf frat house at University of Alabama. He’s immensely loyal, and tends to see things in absolute terms, like ANNML, which he’s very devoted to. He’s protective and fierce, but afraid to see things as they are so he tends to follow the easy path to “justice”. (Human Age would be 20.)
In this world, you have to stick to the people that care about you. You have to do what you have to do to keep ‘em safe. That’s what ANNML’s all about. Werewolves stickin’ together to push back against vamps.
Of course Vamps are inherently bad. They used to be human, and good, probably, but there’s no way something that has to drink blood can be good.
We’re here for you, Sam. No matter what you are, who you are, or who ya love. You’re like our little brother.
Magpie’s fiancee. She’s quite ill, but Magpie’s determined to find a way to restore her health. They’ve been engaged since they were younger. Pania has a deep love for the ocean, and like Magpie, is from Maori descent. She’s a person who’s had relentless faith, but time and pain is making her doubt herself and her future. She’s unsure how to tell her love that she’s losing hope of her recovery. New Zealand accent, softer high mid range. She sounds sickly and at times very weak. (Human age would be late 20’s, early 30’s.)
