PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Reyes family, who is known to move around a lot, moves into a new town, Glenview. We follow the youngest daughter, Lily, who is shy and not great at meeting new people nor making friends. Her “perfect” older sister, Vanessa, urges her to try and make friends for the first time. Longing for connections outside of her sister, she challenges her inner thoughts and continues with a determination to make friends. Being a new student at Cypress High: All Girls Private School was nerve wracking, but Lily doesn’t let that deter her from meeting her goal. Along the way, she meets various eccentric people who are unapologetically confident. As she spends more time with them, she slowly comes out of her shell and her outcast reputation transforms into a loving group of five. Acknowledging the change, Lily navigates the new-found life she has always wished for.
