Male, 20s-30s. A Midwestern everyman who finds himself lost in a dangerous forest. He’s reserved and cautious– not one to step on other people’s toes. He’s often lost in thought, and greatly enjoys his alone time. Although he’s from our reality, he’s always had a hunch that there was more out there than his mundane everyday life.
No, I didn't -- honestly, I have no idea how I got out here! And, sorry, I missed who exactly you are?
What the hell was that?! I don't know who you think my grandfather was, but you've got the wrong idea! He was just some old nut who made me carry salt around in my pockets.
Why didn't he warn me about any of this? Why did he leave me to inherit enemies?
Male, presenting as 20s-30s, an immortal woodland spirit with a strong sense of loyalty. Energetic and quick-witted. His mind goes a mile a minute– he’s wise, odd, and not completely human. His manner of speaking is ancient and folksy– like it’s been centuries since he last interacted with civilization. He’s calm but serious in the face of danger, and knows these woods like the back of his hand.

Your grandfather was a very good friend of mine. He helped me when I was in dire straights. Though we were friends many years, I never repaid him. With his passing, I suppose I never will.
Feminine, any gender. Sonorous, menacing, ethereal. A being of the Old World, a terrifying animal that's also frighteningly intelligent. Speaks in a cool, leveled tone as she stalks her prey. Very sinister. The mortal world is small and inconsequential in her glowing eyes. Voice comp: Spirit Moro in Princess Mononoke.
