Hello, everybody! I'm houhouVA, and this is a project for the A Day in the Life! series for the popular Nintendo mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes.
For those who don't know A Day in the Life, it's a weekly comic that puts different heroes together from the Fire Emblem series. Here's a link to the comic pages: https://fire-emblem-heroes.com/en/manga/
It's a very lighthearted and funny series of comics, and I've always thought it would be a blast dubbing it over. However, the sheer number of characters and the short length of each comic made it difficult to organize. That's why, I've decided to simply use a few voice actors to do the dubbing for many characters at a time! I might step in as well to voice a couple characters.
I am sorry to say that this is a passion project, and I do not have enough funds to give out to those interested. Nevertheless, I'm excited to get this project underway!
Given the lighthearted nature of the comics, I would love for the dub to be equally as lighthearted, so feel free to audition for any characters you would like. Although the recording quality and acting must be top-notch, the actual dubbing is pretty flexible, and I'm open to slight improvisation or derivations from what the comic exactly says.
The Important Stuff:
I am looking for this to be a long-term project. I will likely upload videos consisting of 3~5 comics each on a monthly basis, so the lines required will be for those comics.
I am not looking for a voice-match for any characters. I still believe it's a good idea to listen to the sample recordings though to get a better idea of the mannerisms for each character.
Please have a recording environment without background noise and acceptable microphone quality (Some USB and XLR preferred).
We will be using Discord to chat and upload recordings, so please have an account ready.
As always, timely recordings are needed. The lines will never be very long, so please submit the recordings on time!
I encourage you to audition for as many characters as you can! I'm looking for the comic dubs to be a little wacky, so anything goes!
If you've gotten this far, thank you very much for taking a look at this project! If you haven't already, go play a Fire Emblem game. Good luck!
