A fan dub of the first chapter of the Finding Your Roots Pokémon series on Tumblr. (From now on referred as FYU)
For those of you unfamiliar with the series, Cedar the mudkip has always been an outcast, but she never let it get her down. Instead of swimming with her peers, she loves to play in the dirt and mud. She wants to be more connected with her ground-type roots, but her tribe only sees themselves as water-types, and everyone she knows sees earth pokemon as silly and useless. Cedar’s hopes of meeting like-minded pokemon seem slim, until the day a mysterious desert egg pops up in her village. Upon setting out to bring the egg home, Cedar will embark on a life-changing journey where she’ll meet new friends, face villains and hardship, and find roots she never knew she had.
Finding Your Roots is an Omega Ruby earthlocke told in the style of Pokemon Mystery Dungeons. Pokemon belongs to Nintendo and Game Freak, and PMD belongs to Nintendo, Game Freak, and Chunsoft.
This will be an unpaid project, but please be serious about it. It is mildly long term, so make sure you are ready to devote some time to it before entering. Please ensure that your microphone is capable of recording your performance without picking up overwhelming background noises or excessive peaking/clipping. Simultaneously many of these roles are for larger than life characters who tend to emote HEAVILY- as such most roles will probably involve shouting and even a bit of crying in some capacity at some time or another so if you cannot commit to the needs of a given role please do not audition as I cannot expect to select someone who cannot give the performance a role requires.

This is Cedar, A Littleroot mudkip who's tastes are a bit different.
Here on Littleroot Shore, the Mudkip tribe lives happily by the water.
And so, Cedar set off from Littleroot that day, on a quest to bring the desert egg home.

(fierce) I won't go down without a fight!
