FINAL FANTASY XIV: The Dancer (Voiced Cutscenes Project)
Project Overview
The critically acclaimed FINAL FANTASY XIV has a rather considerable amount of cutscenes and moments where characters do not speak, and the story is told solely through text boxes. The goal of this project is to provide voices to these characters and compile several cutscenes into one standalone project. Since FINAL FANTASY XIV has several main classes (all with their own unique storyline) I decided to start it off small with the Dancer.
A lone adventurer hears that a performance by the famous "Trope Falsiam" is being held in the city of Limsa Lominsa. Arriving on the stage, she witnesses the performance of dancers, led by the young Ranaa Mhigo. After that, the leader of the Troupe, Nashmeira approaches the adventurer. She senses that this particular Viera is an accomplished fighter, and explains that to be a Dancer, one needs high physical capabilities. Thus, she invites Hemma Camoa to learn the ways of their ancient dance of war. Hemma agrees and Nashmeira then proposes her accompany the Troupe as they perform in major cities of Eorzea.
Below there will be two characters that are mostly featured during the cutscenes. As this is a pretty small project, things should be able to go rather smoothly in one go. You can preview one of the cutscenes in the following link. The video in question should also give an idea of how the scenes should work, with me having to record them myself, edit and cut them out, change some of the camera angles and play around with the fan-made UI.
To clarify, all characters speak with a British accent. However, you do not have to be from the UK in order to participate.

A young dancer and fellow pupil, Ranaa Mihgo is more than willing to show her prowess on stage. As for the sake of consistency with the world, she must have a typical british accent. As long as it sounds like one, it'll do the trick.
[1] You must be Hemma, yes? Welcome to the Troupe! I am quite certain you will feel at home with us.
[2] Mistress Nashmeira took me in a while back. She has taught me everything I know, and she's such an incredible performer herself.[3] Ladies, gentlemen... fair citizens of the Holy See. Today, we dance for you the ancient art passed down to us from the days of yore!
[4] Though the Kriegstanz was born on the battlefield, it is a dance that brings healing and succor. Your people suffering for too long the horrors of the Dragonsong War. Let our performance fill thee with hope and heal any scars that may still linger.[5] Er, pay no mind to those ominous clouds! It's all part of the performance, you see.
[6] Right on cue! All, right... let's take out that nasty thing before our audience realizes it's not just for show!
The teacher who has carried the dancing arts across the continent. She is the mentor and a mother figure to Ranaa.
[1] My apologies. I did not mean to intrude upon your experience. Pray ignore my muttering and enjoy the girl's performance. She's trained quite hard for this day, after all.
[2] I must say, you carry yourself with a certain grace, don't you? Ah, but do excuse me. I forget myself...[3] Yes... Just so, Ranaa. Betray not your trembling heart... Dance your dance till the last, and let them fall under your spell.
[4] Your eyes do not deceive you. That is the dance of the damned. Yes, it is just as I feared... Do not worry, I'll explain everything in good time.
There are quite a few extras sprinkled throughout the cutscenes. A couple of male and female actors would do the trick.
[Female] I've never seen dancing like this before... It stirs the very depths of my soul!
[Female] Simply gorgeous! You must teach me so! The way you've helped our people, I must know how to do the same.[Male] Begone, meddlers! Leaves us to our dancing. Such matters do not concern you.
[Male] So close, and yet so far... For all who cannot make the voyage to our home, we bring our art to yours... Hailing from across the sea, I present the incomparable, transcendent... Trouple Falsiam!
[Male] Today, we have prepared a feast for your eyes and ears! Let the soaring melodies and the stirring, striking steps of our dancers reach your heart and spirit!
A narrator will be required in order to fill in the gaps between cutscenes and explain the events of certain situations.
Hydaelyn... a vibrant planet blessed by the light of the Crystal. Amid azure seas, encompassing the westernmost of the three continents, lies a realm embraced by gods and forged by heroes. Her name… Eorzea.
I require someone who'd be willing to do some basic audio cleaning in regards to the actors who will be part of the project in order to avoid inconsistencies between the performances.
