Project Overview
About the Project:
I've been wanting to make my own FF9 Fandub project for awhile now and decided that now would be ideal time to make one! FF9 was my second Final Fantasy -game that I owned as physical copy back when I had Playstation 1/PSX/PSOne, so it's really close to my heart. This particular version however is a fan Remastered version of the original, or a "Moguri" (modded) version. However FF9 is made and owned by Square-Enix (was Squaresoft back then) and I own nothing when it comes to this game nor it's assets or anything else. This is just my passionate Fandub project I wanted to do.
What I require from your auditions:MUST HAVE A CLEAR AUDITION!
MUST BE BACKGROUND NOISE FREE!
I have life outside the projects. This means there WILL BE delays in current and future projects.
If taking project out gets delayed for reason or another, please don't be a jerk and call me out as "bad director" or "can't deliver projects in time" or so. I am after all a human-being just like you and have my own real life issues to deal first. Real life issues ALWAYS comes first, THEN the fun.
Don't rush me at any given time. Failure to follow rules set will result you get kicked out and banned for my Discord server.
There are a lot of minor roles which I haven't included to this List of VA's needed mainly the reason that I don't want to stretch the project page any further than needed. The roles that are NOT included but still available to discuss/claimed over my Discord channel are;

Zidane Tribal is the main protagonist of Final Fantasy IX. He is a thief who works for the Tantalus Theater Troupe set to kidnap the princess of Alexandria, an event that escalates into a quest to protect the planet of Gaia.
Zidane is laid-back, casual, outgoing, and generally friendly to those around him. He is flirtatious with women, but develops feelings for Garnet specifically. When the situation calls for it, he can be more serious, particularly in the face of danger. Zidane cares for those around him, often offering them advice on life, and is selfless in his actions. He tries to conceal his insecurities and fight them alone.

Blank is a temporary player character in Final Fantasy IX. He is one of the members from Tantalus, and thus a Thief. He is Marcus's best friend, Marcus often calling him "Bro".

[after the battle with Masked Baku, out of breath] Whew!
I'll distract the audience from backstage with these little buggers. I can't stand oglops... But I'll manage, so don't worry about me. And that'll be your cue, Zidane!
Marcus is a temporary player character in Final Fantasy IX. He is a member of Tantalus and Blank's best friend, frequently referring to him as his brother and noting at one point, "There's only one man I call 'Bro'". He is also the lead actor in the play I Want to Be Your Canary and plays a character of the same name.

Cinna is a temporary playable character in Final Fantasy IX. He is a member of Tantalus Theater Troupe and thus a Thief and an actor residing in Lindblum. He possesses the Unusual Potion item Zidane needs to further his quest. Preferred voice for him would be gruff-like, like someone who's smoked a lots of cigarettes, perhaps.

I'll take it from here, so listen up! Our ship's about to dock at Alexandria... And when it does, we're gonna put on our costumes... ...and perform 'I want to Be Your Canary,' the most popular play in Alexandria! Break a leg, Marcus! 'Cause you're playin' the lead!
Baku is a non-player character and leader of the infamous Tantalus Theater Troupe in Final Fantasy IX. Baku plays King Leo in the troupe's production of the play I Want to Be Your Canary. Tantalus's home base is in Lindblum's Theater District. Make him sound boistorous.

[after he loses the dragon mask on the first battle] UGHUUA! Oh, my head! Go easy, you guys! [after the battle] Hey, fools! You're lookin' a lot better! Gwahahaha! Alright! Let's start this meeting already!
Here's the plan! Tantalus, the infamous band of daring thieves (that's us) is headin' to the Kingdom of Alexandria... Our mission: to kidnap the heir to the throne, Princess Garnet!
You bet! You're gonna kidnap the most babe-ilicious beauty in all of Alexandria, Princess Garnet!
Vivi appears at first to be gullible, clumsy, and shy, often stumbling over his speech and lacking self-confidence. He is fearful of his powers, origins, and his own lifespan. Over time, he gains bravery and confidence, as well as a sense of right and wrong. Vivi befriends Zidane, who acts like an older brother to him, and resolves to use his magic to protect his new friends. At the start of the game he's been referred as "Pointy-Hat Boy" and a "slave" that Rat Kid (Puck) calls him.

[To Kupo, after Stiltzkin leaves] Was that a friend of yours?
Puck, also known as Rat Kid before introducing himself, is a non-player character in Final Fantasy IX. He is the prince of Burmecia, and the first Burmecian met in the game when he acts as Vivi Ornitier's guide in Alexandria.

Kupo is one of the many Moogles that appear in Final Fantasy IX. Kupo explains the save system and Mognet to Vivi, and begins the Mognet quest in the endgame.

[as Rat Kid done addressing Vivi as Number One Slave] Kupo! Pleased to meet you! I sorry. I enter you in Moogle Diary! If you want to save game onto Save Folder, just ask us moogles, kupo! And you can regain health if you have a Tent, kupo! You understand?
[To Stiltzkin] Kupo! Stiltzkin! Why that getup? You leaving, kupo? I'll miss you, kupo.
Stiltzkin is a recurring moogle in the Final Fantasy series. A traveling moogle, he can be identified by his golden fur. Stiltzkin speaks unbroken English, and rarely, if ever, says "kupo".

[after Kupo asked if he was leaving] Yeah, and this time I might be away for a long time.

Ticketmaster is the one that informs Vivi's ticket being fake and overall something about Alexandria and their rulers and the about the "I Want To Be Your Canary" play.

[when Vivi asks to tell him more about Princess Garnet] Her Highness is a beautiful princess, and everyone in Alexandria loves her!
[Seeing Vivi's fake ticket] What's this? There's something odd about this ticket... Why, it's another fake! I've seen so many today. [comforting Vivi after he learned his ticket is fake] Now, now. Don't cry. I know how you must feel. Here, I'll give you these. Do try to cheer up now, hmm?
