First Round of Casting Complete!
The first round of casting for Chapter 1 of the story is done! We got so many good auditions and some hard choices had to be made! That being said, for those who didn't get the part they wanted we will be holding more castings for characters that appear in later chapters! So don't be so glum chum and keep at it, hope to hear your voices in the next round of auditions! -Lector
Threnody is a young but experienced in her craft and tends to have a knack for gaining the trust of others.
[false cheerfulness] “Just keep up what we started, Charm. You’re doing wonderfully, and I know that Cinnamon Twist will take good care of you,”
[disbelief] “She had a space rock fall on her head. No shit she’s not happy about it!”
[serious] “None. The only pony whose brains blew out was the stallion I couldn’t help.”
One of the heartmenders Threnody encounters, and turns into more of a father figure to her being her shoulder to cry on.
[tired] “Look, if you want to try, go for it. I ain’t gonna stop ya. Just know that you two got me out of a rather… tight spot. You go back in there, she’s liable to stick another sock in your maw.”
“So. That’s the infamous security mare, you got lucky. She thrashed me the first time we met.” [warmly]
Is an Alicorn courier for the followers of the apocalypse, doesn't play a very vital role in the story, but gives off a friendly and brash vibe, almost a child at heart.
“Hi! Honestly, I was expecting a batpony when Velvet sent me out here to meet you. At least, with your really nifty and interesting name, I did. I’m Thimblestep, and I’ll… well, more or less be your taxi today.”
*If you would like, improvising is always encouraged*
Is a maid in the settlement of Elysium, guiding Threnody throughout. Plays only a very small role in the story.
[Surprise] “Oh my. I’m sorry, Heartmender. I keep forgetting you’re a pegasus. Your wings just blend right in with your coat.”
“I’m afraid not, Heartmender. I would have guessed that it was something to do with the Lady Charm, but normally she’d tell me so,”[pitying]
The narrator is tasked with conveying situations and making sure information and characters are represented clearly and accurately.
*Will be responsable for the majority of the script and must have vocal endurance and patience*
A field of red roses spread out before me. I’d always loved this garden. The Memory Garden, if I recalled correctly. Elysium was by far the prettiest place I’d ever seen in the wasteland. It made me feel guilty that I’d left mom behind in Junction City, but… eh, she was well off there. Being good friends with the mayor made you that way, I supposed.
The Princess laughed humourlessly, a dry lightning that foretold a coming storm.
I spat out the rather salty tasting sock. Why was it salty? Ok. Nope. Not thinking about it. Eww oh goddesses I was thinking about it…
Sandalwood is one of Threnody's co-heartmenders and is rather motherly towards her, often worrying about others well being and attempting to take on responsablitly so others don't have to.
This will be considered a lead role since she appears in chapters frequently.
[annoyed]“Threnody, did you even read the assessment that Velvet sent you?”
[serious]“I wish it was a joke, Threnody, but no, Blackjack is very much alive and our patient. And, well, not happy about it.”
[panic]“Well, she’s happy to see me. I’ll just… see myself out.”
