A sweet little girl who comes from a wealthy family, she lives in a giant mansion with her father who neglects her constantly, but she does her best to not let that get her down and still manages to smile.
In the following scene she tries to give her dad a little rice ball she made in an attempt to get his attention so she could remind him that it's her birthday. In the end he scolds her and tells her off saying that cooking is for the chef's, ultimately sending her off crying.

A very wealthy and financially successful man. The proud owner of a crucial railway system that runs all throughout the main kingdom the story takes place in. After his wife's unfortunate passing, he's buried himself in his work and completely neglected his young daughter for a majority of her youth and treated her horribly.
In the following scene he's trying to fill out some paper work when his daughter walks in and tries to give him a rice ball. He tells her to leave, to which she starts to. She turns around to ask a question and he explodes and goes off on her, yelling at her telling her to stop what she's doing and leave him be.

Laxus is a very big and strong wizard, in fact one of the strongest in the Fairy Tail Guild, He can be very intimidating, but deep down he cares so much for his guild mates.
As a result of his love and car for his guild mates he wanted nothing more than to make them stronger. However he went about making that want a reality with a method that would do more damage to his guildmates than anything else, even bringing some close to death. As a result, the guild master of Fairy Tail AKA his Grandpa has to make him confront his actions and eventually expel him from the guild.

When Laxus was young, he was a very happy kid who always had a smile on his face. Very enthusiastic with everything he says.
In this scene he's concerned as to how he'll see grandpa in the crowd of people watching the float parade Laxus will be partaking in. So Laxus comes up with a cute hand sign that's used so that his grandpa knows he's always looking out for him

Okay, then in the middle of the parade... ILL JUST DO THIS!!! (he puts up his hand doing a cute hand sign)
It's a message, It means even if I can't see you, it'll be proof that I'll always be looking out for you!!!
