FNAF: Facing the Past
Project Overview
fanfiction introduction:
and AU (Alternative Universe) story. Freddy Fazbear Pizza closes, but not long after, a new building opens, with a new owner though, being Freddy Fazbear and gang. their adoptive father has giving the animatronics a new and huge change in life, but what they don't know. that this new change suddenly opens the door to their past from before they were animatronics, to when they were humans.
this is my first audio story, so sorry if the description is lacking. I could easily just write the whole story here, but maybe it is better you simple just read the story and then decide if you would like to voice one of the characters.
still I need saying this. my story has a mix of tragedy/hurt since people do die the survivors are forced to live on without the deceased.
but also Slice of Life/drama, about a bunch of animatronics first have to control a restaurant, then later get used to the knowledge being a human soul inside a suit and lastly confront their past and the man who did this by murdering them.

the Narrator is probably the most important role of this whole project. whoever is taking this role has to be prepared to be the one who makes the tone of the story by the tone of their voice.
you need to have a good mic and also not be a busy person either as you will get the most lines of all in this project.
Freddy Fazbear Pizza closed permanently after a terrible fire and would seem to be that forever. But only a year later, a small restaurant opens, having the exact same name. People are curious. Why would they open the place again, especially after when the three other locations have been forced to close thanks to horrible incidents as the disappearing of children. And yet, here it is; a new location. New owner though.
The owner of the three other locations has been an elderly man, he stepped down at the last location, let his two right-hand men take the ownership, he died not long after the last restaurant burned down in the fire and rumors said his two right-hand men both disappeared without a trace. So surely no one would take the company with all the bad rumors around it. And yet, someone apparently was either brave or stupid enough to take the ownership of the company.
Many feared the place and stays away, yet those who loved the place, well they just have to check this new location out.
They are all greeted with a familiar sight, four animatronics the icons of the restaurant. A dark brown bear, a purple bunny, a pirate fox and a yellow chicken stands on the new scene and greet people.
Many people are kinda surprised seeing those guys again, yet also happy, more so since this new owner has done the honor and has given the animatronics a huge makeover.
The last location hasn't kept them in fit condition and so the animatronics fur began to stink and fall off and they kept glitching, freaking the children out. Now, they were clean and movements incredible fluid. Also, their appearance has changed a bit too, they looked more real like animals, and some did mistake them for people in suits as no metal parts could be spotted, giving them a more life-like appearance, especially with their incredibly lifelike eyes.
The loyal customers found their new appearance rather appealing, more so as the animatronics did not only sing children songs, but also songs suited to every age. The parents did get a little scared, though when the animatronics suddenly began moving around the crowd and interacting with the children. But the children loved this new change. and the first day of being open, those few people who have come has to admit it is rather good and many of them want to tell their friends and family that this place is worth visiting in the future.

Voice: voice light and monotone, since this one has no emotions.
Personality:
full name is Marionette. Marion is both the most powerful and weakest of the animatronics. he's the weakest physical and have no change in strength if one of the other animatronics attacks him, he can barely stand up against a human and has to take them by surprise. his biggest strength, is a strange form of magic that can gives everyone he aims it on strange visions, but only when they are sleeping. he can teleport and see the souls of people. Marion knows what he is: a child spirit trapped inside this body, but because of the cruelty of his once human family, Marion cannot remember his human name, nor see the faces of any human. meaning that even if his killer stood right in front of him, he wouldn't know. Marion knows who the killer is, but as he cannot identify the man, so he do not trust any human. only one human has gained his trust is Mike Schmidt. and if not seeing people's faces and remember who you were before wasn't bad enough, the one who gave Marion this strange curse also do he cannot feel emotions, stripping him from any lack of empathy and that does often makes him act very cold and uncaring. he prefer keep to himself, mostly because his lack of emotions makes him see no reason in socialising with the other animatronics. Marion wish he could feel though, and the only way he can become free is kill the child murder and this desperation makes him really dangerous, especially when he lack the empathy to anyone.

Real name: Daniel Williams
Age: middle twenties
Voice: Foxy/Daniel loves perform as pirate, so he does sometimes speak with pirate accent.
as robot/fox: Foxy has a husky voice, like he's being out on the sea for too long.
as human: voice pretty ordinary.
Personality:
Foxy is adventures, but does sometimes feel uncertain with change.
he has an incredible lively imagination and one dang of a storyteller. that enables him to draw both children and adults into a world of adventure of pirates battling on the sea. when he's in "story mode", he acts like he is in the world he tells himself. it's a big strength when he entertains, but it also leaves him with the huge disadvantage that everything else doesn't seem to exist and a bomb could practically blow without Foxy noticing.
this does often leave Foxy in the dark of what happened around him and can be pretty oblivious at times,
Foxy is the smallest of the animatronics, and still he's not afraid picking fights with people bigger and stronger than him if he find a reason to, which are fortunately rare.. if you don't count Bonnie. Foxy and Bonnie often gets at each others throats in pretty much everything, but they are still good friends. Foxy has a very high sense of morality and is pretty loyal too, so if asked: Foxy will set his own things aside and do whatever he can to help.
Note: whoever chose Foxy has to be prepared speaking in pirate accent from time to time.
(happy)"Ahoy thar matey, ye ready fer some adventure?! (confused) did that sound right?"
(angry) who are you calling a mutt?! don't make me go over there and kick your ass you overgrown rodent!
(confused) "h-hey, what in Davey Jones locker is going on here??"
Real name: Jenna Grey
Age: early twenties
Voice: Chica/Jenna as the only girl in the gang, she knows how to be heard.
as robot/chicken: a little bit dark, but still feminine.
as human: the same.
Personality:
Chica is a very caring character, doesn't mean she likes to mess around with her friends once and a while, though. Chica is always ready for some fun, let it be throwing the cupcake at someone's head or a little roughhousing, she's on. that doesn't mean she say no to some shopping, in fact Chica loves shopping just as much the next girl.
she always ready try out new recipes of food she can serve to her friends or the people at the restaurant, yet prefer being modest and will only tell she has made the food if people ask.
Being the only girl in the Fazbear gang, Chica quickly learned to be a little rough, in a caring way of course. Chica can get angry outburst if someone gets really on her nerves (or eat chicken) and that person better run for this chicken is not afraid to pull a punch.
her and Bonnie will over the story become a couple, won't change her much though since she has a deeper understanding in her own emotions.
Note: whoever want to voice Chica/Jenna might have to be prepared to sing

(sad) this can't be real... it just can't...
if you wishes to join the project but do not have time for a bigger role, then this might be more you. there will be many small roles in the audiobook, such as customers, bad guys and so on.
I cannot make any lines for this audition since this is very broad,

Voice: no real demands
Personality:
Mike is the lone survivor of the Child murder, and been traumatized through the last of his childhood of watching his friends getting brutally murdered in front of his eyes. in the start Mike was struggling with his long grief and nightmares from his earlier job as Nightguard and trying staying alive from Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy there was out for blood.
a year later, a new Freddy Fazbear Pizza opened and to his huge surprise. none of the animatronics are bad anymore, in fact, they are friendly. at first he thought they weren't the same, but it didn't take him long realizing that Freddy and friends are the same animatronics that tried killing him (they just didn't know) and they were in fact sentience. to Mike's greater surprise, it didn't take him long befriending them and slowly getting over his grief from his friends. Mike's once great fear to the animatronics has since completely disappeared and now doing as much as he can to help his robotic friends with the restaurant and that comes in sign with taking the parent role for the new addition of animatronics: the Toys. Mike don't mind doing it, even though the Toys can be quite the handful as they have no idea the difference between good and bad, not to mention they all either hate or fear other humans.
later on and with some help from the Marionette, Mike realize that his death friends and his new friends; the animatronics are the same. it came as a huge surprise, but he never felt so happy being reunited with his friends.
Note: Mike has a huge role, so whoever chose to be Mike's voice can't be busy.

(annoyed) "really, even after you know they're not bad. you still thinking they gonna kill you?"
Real name: Calam Gothope
Age: about the middle fifty
Voice: Goldie/Calam has a lot of experience on life, and that is shown in his voice.
as robot/bear: Goldie's voice is pretty deep.
as human: not as deep as bear.
Personality:
He prefer the name Goldie, as it was the children who gave him that name. Goldie works as the voice of wisdom. however, even with his age, Goldie has never been afraid making a little fun with the youngsters, although they probably more see it as a parental embarrassment. Goldie has a big awareness of what horrible things has happed in the past and promised himself he will do everything in his power to protect his family from harm.
Goldie has supernatural powers, such as teleportation and sensing people's emotions. he can more than that, but he doesn't dare unlock those powers since they aren't fully his own. Goldie can sign language and taught the other animatronics that ability as well.
Goldie's robotic human shape is mainly used when humans wants one from the management right away and if no one else can do it. he calls himself Gold in this form and does not hesitate make jokes about it.
(sad) "...I wouldn't blame you if you fear us. who wouldn't under these circumstances?"
(happy) "Name's Fredbear, but most call me Goldie. why? because of my 'golden' personality"
(angry) "You can and will tell me Marionette!! Clearly you knew this was going to happen!!"

personality: Chiara is very light-hearted and curious in new things, so long it isn't roughhousing. she does not like that. Chiara did suffer like the rest of her companions in their former home, but surprisingly she is the one who came out the one with least trauma. because of this, Chiara has time to take care of the shy BonBon and has become very close friend with him, slowly considering the shy bunny as a younger brother.
Chiara likes to watch and play after movies she likes, even try and make certain objects out from the movies. however so far, she still has to learn that all fabric or objects are not for her taking.

Real name: Martin Fitzgerald
Age: in the early forties
Voice:
as robot/hare: no real demands for this voice.
as human: have to be the exact same a Jeremy
Personality:
even with all the pain and suffering, he has been through, Spring is still incredibly kind and helpful to everyone around him. both his biggest strength, but unfortunately also his biggest weakness. it doesn't mean Spring is naive, that part of him got torn away the moment the child killer took him on and slaughtered those children right before his eyes. and if that wasn't enough, Spring has been thrown into storage and stayed in there for years, and later used in a horror attraction (he got the nickname Springtrap there, but Spring really dislike that name) in Fazbear Fright, here he was so unfortunate losing his sanity and attacked and killed a human. Spring doesn't remember the kill, but he still knows he did something horrible.
Spring is a huge pacifist, and works as the peace-keeper in the family. however, Spring is so afraid telling his family of what he remembers from both the child murder and what little he remember from Fazbear Fright. he often hides away when he feels those memories reappears into his mind. hiding all this pain does affect him into a small depressive state, never aggressive, though.
Spring is twin brother to Jeremy Fitzgerald, and they will meet in the story.
Note: whoever chose Spring will also chose Jeremy since they are twins and thus has the same voice.
(sad) "I never meant to hurt you, and yet... I did"
(friendly) "you are forgiven, after all; you merely followed your heart"
(scared) "I... I can't.. what, what if I hurt someone? I don't want to be the monster...!"

age: between five to six
voice: light and very shy sounding.
personality: BonBon is shy and easily scared, so he hides most of the time.
BonBon is like all the former Toys just a kid and will react on the world exactly like a kid. his short life haven't been glories, though, from the day he became sentient he and the others has been forced into lives that even an adult would have trouble coping with. all because the management wanted the new animatronics to be twice the better than the old one and thus put a lot of pressure onto the Toys. and if that wasn't enough, the humans BonBon and the others were supposed to make happy was angry that their favorite animatronics were replaced with doll looking animatronics, so first part of BonBon life was filled with abuse and stress.
but life did turn better for this blue bunny as Mike showed him kindness and comfort, giving him the chance showing that he is a really nice little bunny who only wants a little love. oh and he can break your cute meter, for he has learned the same big eyed trick as Pus in Boots from Shrek.
I'm... I'm not a-a girl... I'm a-a boy.
Age: about the late forty.
Voice: as close as the real Phone Guys/Scott as possiple.
Personality:
years of service at the Fazbear entertainment as guard, and practically being the only one daring getting near the animatronics. still the many horrible incidents did take a toll on him and at the 'last' Freddy's Scott was nerve wreck, still he did his best doing his job as the security guard.
one day he got attacked by the animatronics, but miracles survived and being the first human realizing the animatronics are possessed by the dead children. feeling great pity for the animatronics, Scott takes the role as Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy's guardian or as they called him: father.
Scott is the person who ensures that every animatronic from Fazbear entertainment will get a better life in the new location.
Scott is a good but kinda a naive man (just look at how he stayed as guard even though he knew the animatronics were dangerous) who tries his utmost saving a failing restaurant.
Note: this Scott is an oc character, I only gave him that name for the laugh.

Real name: Sean Legrand.
Age: in the early twenties.
Voice: Freddy/Sean is half France, so he will speak the language once and a while.
as robot/bear, Freddy's voice is deep yet soft.
in his human shape; his voice is lighter.
Personality:
Freddy is most of the time calm and collected. prefer watching a situation from a small distance before going into action, if thrown into a situation without warning, this bear can lose his cool and go into a panic frenzy... which is not helping when the others are often looking to him for leadership. Freddy is very polite and friendly, don't say no to a good joke, so long it doesn't hurt anyone. he is a bit fussy about the restaurant and his own appearance, which his family sometimes makes fun of. he is also quite overprotective and can get pretty aggressive, even straight out violent if someone dares hurt the people he cares about.
Note: whoever want to voice Freddy/Sean have to be prepared to sing

"you got that?"(amused) "oh I wouldn't go that far, I mean; you're still hanging around aren't you?"

Real name: Tim Lane
Age: middle twenties
Voice: Bonnie/Tim often sounds aggressive.
as robot/rabbit, Bonnie voice is pretty light.
as human, voice is a bit darker in tone.
Personality:
Bonnie is far from being subtle, he's rather loud, both in action and mouth. hard to miss him when he's in the room. he is a bit short-tempered and does not hide it when he is angry. Bonnie has a bit of an ego and does not like it when people mock him. he hates being called a bunny and a girl. whatever the case, he will say it straight out.
Bonnie is pretty mischievous but does know where the line goes.
when meeting people the first time, Bonnie can be seen as a big jerk but, his rude and maybe a bit aggressive behavior is actually his way of showing how much he cares about people. he dosesn't really care about being sweet and cuddly, so hugging is out of the question.
him and Chica will over the story become a couple, and probably only around her, he will show his softer side.
(annoyed) the hell?! who are you calling a bunny?! do I look like a baby to you?!
(friendly) to most people I am a nice guy, except from you (little angry) for all I care, you can stay in the trash.
(amused/challenging ) try and keep up boss bear!

voice: energetic and a little rich girl whiney at times. would be nice if the person who takes this role can a little French
Personality:
Rena does not know; she is lead to believe that her brother actually is alive, but cannot return home with her as Sean struggles with his new self identity and no longer see the Legands as his family.
Rena is very confident in herself and also quite spoiled, still she is a very nice person. her spoiled behavior does however that if she gets money between her fingers, she will use them pretty much right away as her parents haven't really taught her how to save up money properly.
Rena is a city girl who loves to have fun and it is quite hard get this girl down the mood. she has many friends, but Mike is the one closest to her as they have grown up together and both knows the pain of loss. Rena and Mike have for a time been a couple, but it broke as Mike simple couldn't get over the loss of his friends. so for now, they stay as friends.
Note: Rena is younger sister to Sean/Freddy.

Voice: same as Spring in human form, just more aggrsive
Personality:
Jeremy is twin brother to Martin (Spring) but lost him thanks to an Spring-lock incident. because of that Jeremy hates the company with a passion and is very vocal about it too. the only reason he even works at the "New and Improved" Freddys was because he saw that as the only reason to keep his deceased twin brother's memory alive.
Jeremy did get bit by Toy Foxy but all he lost that day was part of his pride. in fact, getting bitten didn't really traumatize him, it just pissed him off and added more scars to the collection. he does not like to show his old scars from an unknown childhood accident, so he p
refer keeps a hat to hide them.
Jeremy can be at times rather short-sighted and stubborn and it does not make it better he is also has a temper.
back when his brother Martin was alive, Jeremy was way calmer and more open-minded, but after the spring-locks took the calm part of this duo, well Jeremy has kinda turned into a giant jerk.
Note: whoever chose Jeremy will also choose human Spring since they are twins and thus has the same voice.
the hell I care for this place, I'm only doing this shit job because of my brother's memory. believe it or not but he actually liked this place.
(sarcastic) oh sure, having a bunch of animatronics that did more than once try and kill my ass around constantly is soo ensuring.

personality:
back when he looked more like a toy than anything else. Toy Freddy was often told he was the star of the show, but it more ended up confusing the young animatronic when the humans steadily began treating him like trash and even told he was worthless. the loneliness didn't make it any better so Toy Freddy became a bit desperate for company and practically took any company he could get. and the company he got wasn't a very good one, this human taught to be a real jerk and since Toy Freddy didn't know any better, he just did what this human did.
after the Upgrade and renamed Theo, the young bear is struggling against his former teaching and the one Mike teaches him to be nice, often ending up with te young bear getting frustrated and sometimes even violent. most of the time he is acting very indifferent and rude, so by the first look, Theo seems like the typical bully, but the truth is that Theo just don't know what is right or wrong anymore and his confusions/ frustrations often gets turns into anger and that greatly stalls his attempt in being a good bear.
"First you are friendly, tells me I am the new star, tells me I am the leader. Then you get violent and laugh at our misery, next you're again nice and suddenly you freaking attack us! Can you stupid humans decide already?!"
Age: middle thirty
Voice: smooth and calm
Personality: for those who meet Vincent the first time will see a calm, collected and a quite helpful man. he is shown to have a bit twisted humor but most people shrugs it off due to his calm and somewhat sweet personality.
however, behind the mask of kindness lies a coldhearted murder. Vincent has over the years gotten away with several kills and is getting better yet bolder at each kill. when his wall of sweetness is broken Vincent shows he holds a deep need to belong but years of being around the wrong crowd and his constant killing, this man's mind have gotten so lost and twisted that he is beyond saving.
let me tell you a little story: This little child only remembers the suit and how he lost his friends. the first victim was a boy, the knife barely missed his heart but from the sound he made, it clearly didn't miss his lungs. The four others began crying, screaming but I knew the room would not reveal them. one of them tried to attack but I quickly knocked him out. the next victim never saw it coming as the weapon cut right through his jocular, dead before he hit the floor, I still laugh at the face he made.
next, the only girl and she were quite an unlucky one for no major organs was hit and she slowly bled to death. she might have survived if the last child had recalled the room. But no, the surviving child did... nothing.
