Eureka Seven: The Abridged Series
Project Overview
Hello everyone I'm Subby Dubby and this is my second casting call on this website and I'm doing this for my new abridged series! I've done a lot of abridged series before so I'm no stranger to script writing, video editing, and managing a youtube channel.

Now for the basic requirements to audition.
1. You must be available at any time if lines are needed from you. (If you're busy with anything either real life or online, please let me known before we do a live recording session.)
2. When auditioning for one or more of the characters, please read the description of said character before you audition.
3. If you do get the role I'll send you pm asking for a way to get your lines sent in, rather it be Discord or via email.
4. Your mic quality needs to be decent and with no background noise.

Renton Thurston is the son of the late military hero Adroc Thurston and co-pilot of the Nirvash typeZERO. He has been in love with Eureka the other pilot of the Nirvash ever since he first saw her. He is a very outgoing and emotional person possessing strong ideals and compassion yet is naive and tends to jump into matters before understanding what's going on.
Renton's voice should be mid pitch with lots of enthusiasm to his voice,
"Holy crap it's Holland! Is he going to do a cut back drop turn on the lawn?!"
"I'm Renton Thurston, and I've been alive for 14 years and guess what? My life sucks!"
"No way..That girl's a total cutie! Even if she ruined my house with her giant robot! I'm definitely asking her out to prom!"

Holland Novak is the leader of Gekkostate, captain of the Gekko and pilot of the LFO Terminus typeR909. In person, Holland is not always as cool and composed as the photos in ray=out magazine might suggest—he frequently loses his temper when a situation turns bad, or when faced with insubordination.
Holland should sound very grumpy and lazy all the time with a hint of aggressive attitude when it comes to being talked down to.

Talho Yuuki is the head pilot of the Gekko. She and Holland are romantically involved throughout the series, with context suggesting that the relationship goes back at least to Holland's military service.

Renton's Grandfather is a skilled mechanic but cantankerous with people in general. He does not want Renton to follow the life of Renton's father, Adrock, or his sister, Diane. Though he doesn't often show it, he cares deeply for Renton and will do anything he can to support his decisions in life.
Axel should either sound like an old ghetto man or a very rude and obnoxious veteran sounding grandpa.

Diane Thurston is Axel's granddaughter and Renton's older sister. She and Axel were the ones who raised Renton after Adroc's death. She left home some years ago, and for initially unexplained reasons her family has not heard from her since.

Anemone is the 17-year-old pilot of another Nirvash LFO, typeTheEND. She is regularly accompanied by her strange and overweight pet Moler named Gulliver. Dewey assigns Dominic to be her caretaker, to monitor her condition as his plans develop.
She regularly suffers from painful headaches, nosebleeds, and emotional instability, most of which can be temporarily treated with a kind of drug (made from a plasma extracted from Eureka) injected into a receptor in her neck. Despite her past trauma, she acts as if she is glad of what Dewey made her into.
Anemone should be very hyperactive, slightly sadistic, and borderline cutesy psycho.

"Papa Dewey said it's my turn on TheEnd! You don't want me to hurt you do you?"

Jurgens is the captain of the military airborne battleship "Izumo". While he may seem like a dog of the military he is actually quite contemplative of his job. Jurgens also is nearly always at odds with Dominic Sorel, who uses the ship for transportation and always seems have a problem with the way Jurgens does things on his ship.
Jurgen should sound macho, and masculine.
